• The hotel was more than I expected for the price I paid.
• The ice machine was broken on the first 2 floors.

• The employees did not know that there was not an gym in the hotel and was telling me to go all over the place were it should be and there was not on.

“The did not let other guest respect the other guest by asking them to quiet down after 10 pm I was keept awake untill 1 am by other guest playing loud music and I called the desk three times. The microwave and
TV did not work either and there was not any soulition for any of my problems.”

• Quiet and clean.
• I had to wash cloths and each load cost $2 to was and $2 to dry.

“The hotel was not bad but it was located in a not so nice area. It has several fast food restaurants close and a good sea food restaurant next door.”

• Nothing the hotel was horrible.
• Everything, there was nothing nice to say about it.

“This hotel lacked everything you could want in even a half way decent place to stay. Every day I was there I needed to ask for extra towels, in a room that was considered to be for 2 adults. On the second day there was no toilet paper in my room I had to ask for it and then was asked to come down myself and get it from the front desk. Wallpaper in the rooms was falling down. The headboard in one of my rooms fell off the wall. I am not sure that they changed the linens while we there. It was like an adventure when we got to our rooms every evening to see what they had or mostly had not left for us. The staff tried to be friendly but failed miserably with conflicting excuses for the mistakes. On our final evening the hotel lost power and was in a state of disarray. I hope that no one ever uses this hotel again. I would not stay there again.”

• the floors were like saunas..no a/c..and the rooms smelled of smoke

• The rooms were nice and people were friendly
• The door keys got deactivated every day and we had to go back to the front desk everytime

• I liked that it had a microwave and a refrigerator in the room.
• It had lighting issues in the room and in the hallway. NO bulbs and faulty.

• This hotel was very clean and easy to get to.
• This was an older hotel but very well maintained.

• bed was comfortable
• lobby and elevators were not clean

“The staff was unfriendly, curt. The hotel overall was not clean, although the room was better than the lobby and elevator. The internet access was not working. The breakfast was adequate.”

• It had a bed and we slept in it. That is the only thing we liked.
• The hotel was dirty and unsafe. It was a horrible.

“This hotel is located in the worst part of Winter Park. Every other hotel we saw in Winter Park was in a safer enviroment. This hotel was overall dirty. The parking lot was not lighted very well, with several people loitering in the parking lot.”

• Front Desk Personnel were very courteous.
• Wireless network not working, did not sound like anyone was fixing it!

• The hotel was clean and staff met our needs.
• The hotel is slightly rundown, in a poor neighborhood, busy, and far from Disney.

“This hotel meets the bare essentials. It is clean but rundown. We felt the need to park the car by the front door where an intruder would be seen. The sidewalks adjacent are littered with broken beer bottles and trash. There is an old but satisfactory unheated pool. Breakfast is crowded and plain, but okay. It is half an hour from Disney in good traffic. We have stayed at much better two-star hotels.”

• Room very clean, quiet, well appointed, refrig, microwave, ironing board, clock radio. excellent!
• No non-smoking rooms available

“Not in the best neighborhood, but no problems, really close to the interstate. Really clean and quiet room. Lobby reeked of smoke, and the desk clerk got really upset when I commented on it. She insisted no one EVER smoked in her lobby. How can she be so sure? The room was clean enough that although it was a smoking room, there was very little evidence of it. Good value for the price.”

• housekeeping was lacking

“This hotel wasn't filthy but a good spring clean would do it good. Things like the handle in the shower should be pulled apart and the mold cleaned out of them. Door casing in the bathroom had splatters on it and the window casing could use a good cleaning. Rugs in my room were not vacuumed daily and some days the clean towels were just placed on the bed instead of being where they should be. This is nothing I would have complain about but just little things that housekeeping and maintenance should be doing in trying to make the place shine.”
