• Best free breakfast I've had.
• Unwilling to accommodate my request for a room not directly over the pool.

• Beach location, nice hotel.
• One member of the front desk staff was rude.

“Better to stay in 3rd or 4th floor because you will have a better view of beach. We stayed on the 2nd floor and view wasn't that great because hotel is listed as beachfront but not directly on the beach.”

• High standard of equipment.
• People slamming doors.

“This Hampton Inn is not located on the beach! We were very content with this choice. Rooms are Hampton standard with all the stuff you need, comfortable beds and are perfectly clean. Street noise might disturb you a bit but most disturbances come from people slamming doors. Wireless internet was a bit slow; TV does not have too many channels. We liked this place!”

• The promptness of the staff when handling a request.
• Air conditioner needed attention but staff accommodated us well.

“Very nice. Staff was pleasant and very helpful with additional information about the area. Would go there again and highly recommend this hotel to everyone.”

• Did not have new soft cushy bed mattress they advertise.

• Balcony looking at ocean, quiet.
• Ti had to fix the toilet, plug in the TV & a light.

“Quiet, beautiful location, not too expensive, I met 30 friends there & we had so much fun would be nice to get group discounts.”

• Modern, clean, good service.
• Beds not comfortable.

“Conveniently located directly on the beach in St Augustine, this hotel surpasses most of its neighbors in moderns and cleanliness. The staff was helpful at all times. Our last two stays in this area, at a national chain and a privately owned hotel were not nearly as satisfying.”
