• They were very friendly and had a great choice for breakfast!
• The shower leaked and the toilet was slow to flush; got a room by the dumpster and heard the garbage trucks in the morning.

“My husband and I were very satisfied with our stay. The room was very clean and spacious. We didn't like the slow-flushing toilet or leaky shower head, but we only stayed one night and it was tolerable. However, I do suggest that if you get a room closest to Wal-Mart, ask to be moved or the garbage truck will wake you up in the morning. Overall, we had a great stay.”

“Although we were just finding a place to sleep for the night while traveling through on I-77, the facility looks like it would be a nice place for a family weekend getaway with its large pool are and spacious rooms.”

• Convenient location just off the interstate, nice pool.
• Room is a bit plain, beds not the greatest.

• The continental breakfast was quite satisfying, had eggs!
• Can't think of a thing.

“Everything about this hotel was nice. I especially liked the location for the breakfast (overlooking the indoor pool) Was grateful the continental breakfast had some protein (eggs) and wasn't entirely made up of curbs. The room was very nice. The bed comfortable.”

• Pool was out of commission first night. Open second night and then discovered feces in pool. All kids were made to exit pool. Very disturbing.

“I rented two and then three rooms to stay there with friends to enjoy their out-of town family. The main reason for choosing this hotel was the indoor pool which completely failed! Ruined the weekend for the kids.”

• Maid didn't knock before she opened the door.

“It is conveniently located with restaurants nearby as well as shopping. The hotel was clean, the lobby was very nice, and it had an indoor pool which was great for the kids. The breakfast was more than just donuts and offered both hot and cold selections.”

• Well located for Fenton collectors with great continental breakfast. Good restaurant on site and close in area.
• Very difficult to exit dead end street due to heavy traffic.

“This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and have no complaints. Good wireless connection for laptop. Housekeeping is very good and responsive to any requests. Nice leisurely continental breakfast with adequate hours. Close to the Fenton art glass co. (our primary reason for being there), Marietta college, and the historic downtown area with its fascinating antique malls and shops.”

• Food was overpriced in restaurant.

“The hotel was about what I expected for the price. The breakfast was great although the area overlooks the pool and smells of chlorine. There were a lot of dogs there as it is described as "pet friendly" and it was very! So there was some extra barking that you don't usually find in a hotel.”

• Location was good. Indoor pool was nice. Employees were nice.
• Didn't ask me if I wanted a non smoking room at check in, rooms had a generally well used appearance.

“Overall experience was ok. Got stuck in a smoking room for the first few nights. My fault I guess because I didn't ask them for a non smoking room. Everything was clean but the facilities had a well worn look about them. Employees were nice. Maids kept up room well.”

• "Smoke free" room smelled; elevator carpet was disgusting.

“Not a very clean hotel - in room and in common area. Our room was very musty and the air conditioner was leaking to make the carpet wet.”

• No bugs.
• It had a pit bull staying at hotel. It was on leash but passed my wife twice and growled at her.

“Reasonable price at Marietta Ohio. Location close to interstate but short drive from downtown which is where we spent all our time. Decent breakfast, but only ate there one of our 2 days.”

• No refrigerator, my husband is diabetic and needed ref. for his insulin.

• The staff was friendly.
• Hallway smelled stale, breakfast was out by the pool where there was no A/C.

“They gave me a smoking room because that is all they had left. The whole place needs to be updated! All in all it ended up being fine for one night, but a motel 6 would have done just as well.”
