“Located off the highway, close to shopping and dining. Has a nice breakfast.”

“The hotel was not maintained. They were out of bananas (fruit) and juice at the breakfast and weren't expecting a delivery for several days.”

• Carpet is very old in room and the alarm clock was unable to be set.

“Location was good. Some elements are in need of updating, particularly the room carpet which was stained and quite old. It was disconcerting that the alarm clock could not be set and then the office failed to provide the requested wake-up call.”

• 2 towels in our room - not enough! Elevator smelled like vomit!

“Dirty, run down, lobby & elevator stunk like someone puked - washer & dryer takes change but no change machine - no water pressure in shower - gave 2 towels only - bathroom gross! Breakfast & staff were the only plus!”

“Quality of amenities (including breakfast) has declined over past 2-4 years. Old prices on previous stays were reasonable, but the price paid this past weekend was excessive, given the decline.”

“This is the hotel that time forgot. Desperately needs updated. Smells of smoke everywhere. I only spent one night, so tolerable, but I can't imagine staying there more than a day or two.”

• The room was dirty and need of repairs (water damage apparent, cigarette buts in hallway).

“I would not recommend this hotel to others, as it is not in keeping with the quality of other Baymont inns. Our room was dirty and desperately in need of remodeling/repairs. The hallways and elevator were also filthy. The hotel staff was adequate and the location was very good.”

• Over-rated as a 2 1/2 star hotel.

“No extra amenities--nothing. No spa. No pool. Exercise room was closed and locked. Only two towels in the bathroom. No fire equipment in the hotel - a sign was posted!”

• The room is in serious need of cleaning and rehab.

“The general appearance is neat and clean, however it has passed it's prime. The fire alarm was not working, and upon closer inspection the room had thick dust on a section of one of the walls, the carpet was stained in many places, a light bulb was burned out, the counter facing was falling off, the elevator is amazingly slow and the alarm clock was unplugged. The bathroom floor was dirty when I arrived. I had to clean the coffee maker and pot myself and it took a half hour to do it. The bed is very comfortable. The tub is so small that the shower curtain is in the way and I could hear people walking above me. I stayed for 3 nights and my room was not cleaned until the last night. Even the free paper was placed in front of the wrong door. All in this entire hotel gives an inconsistent performance. My first stay was much better a month earlier.”

• Location was fine but entrance to hotel was in construction. It took time to get into hotel. Construction should be criteria in making reservations.
• Hotel needed updating. Chair was stained and overall feel was it required cleaning and updating.

“Fair hotel. Price quoted was too high for this older hotel. Did not have adequate quarters for senior handicapped personnel.”

• Ugly decor, not clean, lazy employees.

“Not impressed at all! We have stayed in many Baymont Inn's and have never been disappointed till now. The desk clerks were too busy talking about a date one had been on to wait on us. The room had dust bunnies on the window sill and a dirty Kleenex behind the nightstand. The room smelled like someone had been smoking in it (a non-smoking room) and someone sprayed bleach all over it. The pillows were so uncomfortable I used a towel under it to fluff it up. Very noisy people in halls and rooms near us. I called the desk several times but nothing was done. I finally got dressed, went in the hall and reamed people out. I will sleep in my car before I go to this place again.”

• For the price, it wasn't worth it. I have seen better.

“The hotel was not attractive to me. It had beds. No pool! No Disney channel for the kids. What a waster of my hard earn money. I will select a Days Inn before selecting another Baymont. The only good thing was the evening front desk staff lady, who was very helpful.”

• Shabby, run down, poor maintenance. Lousy bed. Poor snow removal from exits.

“There are better choices in the area. This hotel has seen better days. Good breakfast, but little else to recommend it. My room smelled as if it was a test site for Marlboro cigarettes. My king bed looked as if a gorilla had slept in the center and made a furrow.”

• Very dated - strong cigarette smell even in the lobby and non smoking rooms ¿ yuck.

“Would never stay here again. The rooms need to be updated - the bedding was old and needs to be replaced. The worst part is the cigarette smoke smell hit us like a ton of bricks as soon as we walked into the lobby. Our room was supposed to be smoke free but it also smelled like cigarette smoke.”

• The manager tried her bast to help us.
• the previous night a manager told me that we were set for a no-smoking room. when we got there were none left. yuck! the room they had was awful.

“The person who told us we would be fine for a 2 bed no-smoking room did not note it in their computer. We could not stay there. It was miserable for us. late, tired, no decent room to sleep in. we stayed somewhere else. The manager did give me a certificate tat will entitle me to a stay there another time. But I don't know when that may work out. very disappointing.”
