• The staff/housekeeping was good.
• Cigarette burns on tub "non-smoking room".

“The staff and housekeeping rated well, rooms were as expected for a one star. I did not care for the cigarette burns on tub in the non-smoking room. Again, rooms clean but stairs and hallways really need to be cleaned up.”

• Close to Universal.
• Walls were so thin we could hear word for word conversations of rooms next to us - didn't get any sleep.

“Hotel is cheap but not worth the money. We were so tired from not getting any sleep because the surrounding area was so noisy that by the end of our trip we were just happy to go home. The people I was with said they would never stay at the hotel again.”

• Close to theme park

• Location.
• Dirty carpet, musty, no parking,
  AC and shower were broken.

“Early check in and price was a a plus. The room was, musty. The carpet was dirty, and the
AC was broken. We changed rooms to a room with the no shower head. The wall paper was peeling off. Carpet was filthy. Dusty and dirty bathrooms. Loud night club in the same building as hotel, we were not aware of this.”

• It's very convenient.
• The restaurant they're associated with. They need to change their towels and bed sheets.

• Location.
• Smell.

“I turned the heat on and it smelled like mildew even after running for a while. I do not recommend this place for single women travelers. However, for the money it was worth the less than 12 hours I spend there to sleep and shower.”

• Close to Universal Studios.
• Air Conditioning rattled. Lobby Looked old and musty.

“Close to Universal Studios, but not with in walking distance. Rooms were fair, but lobby was old looking and musty. No continental breakfast. And they charge you the extra fee for the phone weather you use it or not.”

• Location and price.
• Obvious mold and mildew on walls and vents.

“I would not recommend this to anyone with health problems. There was very visible mold/mildew in the air conditioning vents and on the walls! The beds were comfortable. The drain was slow in the shower. Considering we were in the room so infrequently, the cost and location worked out for us.”

• Unsanitary.

“This hotel is such a dive! The only reason why I booked this hotel was because it was about a mile from universal studios. The check in service was late, the room had not been cleaned, the sheets had s and insect feces on them, mold was everywhere, the room stank, the carpet was damp, there were ants, and to top it all off paint from the walls were falling off in dinner plate size chunks on to the bed with the blood and insect stained sheets! Needless to say I did not end up staying the night at this hotel. The only positive thing about my whole experience at this "hotel" was that I was given a full refund.”

• Convenient location to universal studios park.
• It felt dirty, unsafe and very run-down. It was not a two star hotel!

“I do not know where to start with this hotel. The carpeting was dirty, and the walls were very thin - - therefore it was very noisy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!”

• In need of updating plus internet service rarely worked.

“The motel is in a convenient location near universal studios, but the premises are in serious need of being updated. The plumbing was sluggish, the highly advertised wireless internet service rarely worked and there was nowhere other than nearby restaurants to get a cup of coffee.”

• Door to room did not completely cover (bottom), TV defective.

“This hotel was not conveniently situated to the attractions/locations needed by the business traveler. Travel to get around (taxi) was expensive & late in arrival time (over 45min late). Would not recommend this hotel.”

• Near trolley stop.
• No breakfast, no coffee, damaged and dirty room with bugs.

“I will never stay at another Days Inn. There was no transportation from airport other than $50 taxi ride each way, no free breakfast, and no free coffee. The Jacuzzi and most of the vending machines were not working. The other guests were noisy. My room smelled bad, had water damage, had ants or termites crawling on the bathroom counter, and was overall very gross. The extra cost of the taxi to and from airport , breakfast and coffee at a diner every day, plus the hotel's daily convenience charge.”

• Location excellent and pool was great.
• Bathroom did not have exhaust fan, and TV was horrible reception.

“You get what you pay for, for the money, it was well worth it from cleanliness of room to short walk to universal studios, I would stay there again, Dennis next door had horrible service, very rude waitresses, we ate there only once, and thank god there were many restaurants within walking distance. For the price I paid for my daughter and myself, single income, on a budget, it was well worth it.”
