“I chose this hotel for its location. I almost went with the Doubletree across the street, but felt their daily parking fee was a bit too much. I think maybe I should have just paid that fee instead of going through this stay. The furniture in the room was run down. Wallpaper was peeling. The room safes couldn't be used; people kept taking the keys, I was told. The door to the room would not open easily. The games in the arcade need maintenance badly. Buttons would stick on some. On others, sticks were unresponsive. One pinball machine lost 4 balls as I was playing. Housekeeping was atrocious. It took 4 days for them to check on the toilet paper supply. Plastic cups were never replaced, and there was never a replacement liner for the ice bucket. I used a bag from a trash can one night; just to give them a hint, but it didn't work. I ended up getting a souvenir cup from the park and using it to get ice. This was the worst stay I ever had. I've paid less than this before at a Comfort Suites, and the room was AWESOME. I've paid less than this in Orlando at the Fairfield Inn, and the service was so much better it isn't funny. Just to see the difference, I walked over to the Doubletree I'd passed on. That hotel has similar rates, but it looks like that money is put back into the hotel, so at least the rates may feel justified. With this Holiday Inn, you just wont feel worth staying here. Avoid this place if you can. It seems like they secured the prime location, and then decided to phone in everything else. Sad.”

“Hotel facility is very old, unclean and outdated. We were given a smoking room even requested and granted a non-smoking room. We understand we were not guarantee a non-smoking room especially when the hotel is full. But we checked in on 12/25/07(Christmas day) and the hotel was virtually empty. It's easy to tell the huge amount of vacancy by looking at the virtually empty parking lot. But the front desk turned down our request of non-smoking room by saying "we never guaranteed it and you did not pay premium either". It was a hard experience especially we traveled with 2 young children.”

“Hotel has been newly painted inside and the TGIF restaurant has excellent food. It is an older hotel but it is clean and well kept. This is the third or fourth time we have stayed there. We never encountered the excessive traffic noise before. I would definitely ask for a different room next time.”

“It was awful! There were ants everywhere, the bathtub must have been restored previously and all the "paint" was peeling. I was afraid to put my son in the tub. The facets were hanging off the tile. It was hard to manage the water control. If it wasn't so disgusting it would be funny. The paint in the room was a light shade and the paint to cover up something had darker paint marks and uneven rolls all over the room. Like a drunken painter did the walls. Yes, there was also the wallboard coming off in the bathroom. The wallpaper in the bathroom looked centuries old. Peeling, I should add also. I complained and nothing was done about it. Nor, were we offered a new room.”

“After driving for a long distance it would have been nice to take a long hot soaking bath before I showered but the tub had a drain that was leaking to the point that the water just drained out too fast. The beds were very comfortable but there were bus in the bed. The following morning I had bug bites all over my body needless to say I left and went to another hotel.”

“ the front desk was wonderful, helpful, and friendly. The whole staff was very friendly, and the hotel itself was atractive and in a good location. It was also helpful that a TGIFriday's was adjacent to the hotel, and that kids eat free!”

“The motel was in the process of renovating, so everything was a mess and alot of things seemed junky. Perhaps after they get done, things will be better, but for the price that we paid, I felt it was not worth it.”

“This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. They didn't have rooms were searching to find me one. Put me in a handicap room with 1 double bed (said there was a king. had no tub (3 kids), the sliding glass door did not lock, when the room next door turned on the shower it also turned on in my bathroom.. Was not happy at all.”

“Only wireless internet in lobby. Requested twice to have drain in shower repaired; never done. Elevators do not have up to date 'closing' sensors. Pool area is small and not decorated or 'kept'.”

“Since our last stay at this hotel absolutely NOTHING has changed to improve the quality. We checked in, dropped our bags off and went out. When we returned it was quite late and we were too exhausted to complain about there not being a wastebasket anywhere in the room, used Quips on the bathroom floor, no wash cloths and makeup on the hand towels. Dust was clogging the vent in the bathroom not to mention clusters of it on the heating lamps overhead. If this is the best I can get for my hard earned money next time I'll forfeit.”
