• Loved the location and swimming pools.
• Rooms need updated.

“Just got back after staying here, great location OK, its a bit dated but everything in our room was clean. Fresh towels every day, the beds were fine, asked for extra pillows, got them 5 minutes later. Staff was nice and helpful. On the other hand my mother in law got a room and had to go and ask to be moved as it had a dirty smell and the sofa was thread bare she was moved and the next room was fine we had a fantastic time and will be going back to stay here again.”

• Dirt.

“Lets get one thing said first - I'm not a snob. However the hotel needs a huge refurbishing - the cupboard doors were moldy and hanging off. The freezer leaked all week, the phone didn't work, the decor is 1940's and old - patched in places. The shower was dirty and moldy, it was old and musty smelling, the beds never got changed in two weeks - the towels did however. (hold your breath) they were replaced sometimes by not so dirty ones - we had a hand towel that had a large dried stain on it. After that we used our own pool towels. We only had one roach which is OK I suppose. The oven is one of those portable things about 1 square foot in size with a bulb as an element - only good for toast. The coffee percolator had the last occupants dregs in it. The corridors are dim and smell damp - the lifts constantly jam. The pool area is fine although it never had a clean while we were about. The hotels ideally located for W&W and Universal though.”

• Location, quiet good bar across the street.
• Folding bed was half way up. House keeping turned off freezer which melted floor full of water when we returned but generally not bad.

“Other then house-keeping turning off the freezer all the snobs that wrote about this hotel should get a life. It was in a very good location for everything in the area and with in easy walking distance of almost everything in town. Decent breakfast, no bugs and an older style kitchen for everyone who will stay in and cook for the family to save some extra cash. Not the Hilton but a great place to lay your head for the price.”

• Lobby and swimming pool.
• Dirty, old, bad decoration, tacky room with cigarette smell! Dirty bathroom.

“Very nice lobby, but not room where we slept. It is very dirty, old, not match decoration, smelled like cigarette when we asked for non smoking room. They won't change room for us! Room is very nasty! Breakfast is nasty! I found a hair on my eggs!”

• The pool was nice.
• Whole place had a dirty feel to it.

“It was awful! Beds sunk in the middle. You could not turn around in the master shower. No oven in the kitchen. No ice maker. Place felt dirty. Blankets with holes in them. Could not even use one of the beds, you could look at the mattress and it sunk in the middle. The only way my daughters, could sleep on the sleep sofa was to sleep on top of the blanket and sheet, so that that springs did not poke them. Turned on the shower, and the whole thing would come out of the shower wall. Don't waste your money like I did. Couldn't wait to get home!”

• It was convenient to Universal and it had an indoor pool. Hard to find in Florida.
• Shower kind of small, but we had 2-bathrooms.

“This is a great family hotel. Close to the theme parks, has a balcony and a indoor pool. We like having a kitchen in the room. The 2-bedroom/2bath was great. The extra room was kid friendly. If your extra picky, this hotel is not for you. Great for families or a group going to the parks.”
