• As LQI hotels go, this one was better looking than most.
• It may need a bit of remodeling done.

“I have to say that I'm not a big fan of La Quinta Inns and Suites. But I did my best to go in with an open mind because it was a trip planned on short notice. Having said that, it took less than half an hour to be disappointed, when I realized I had been assigned to a room that someone else was already occupying. Unfortunately I did not realize this until the other occupants came back to their room, shortly after I got in. That, coupled by the fact that the presentation of the hotel is not the same as your typical 2.5 star hotel and that it need some remodeling and updating (wired internet access).”

• The staff was wonderful.
• We had a smoking room.

“The hotel was fine. The staff was great. We are non smokers and were in a smoking room. Could not be changed filled to capacity. We now know to call and make sure we have a non smoking room.”

• Convenient to the expressway, shopping close as well as surrounded by good restaurants.
• The concern for the guess from the Hotel staff.

“My experience with this hotel was not good. One of the night desk clerks burst into my room, I am thankful that the latch prevented him from coming on in. I shouted out, 'Yes, Who is it?' didn't get a response. My instinct had me to dash to the door to find no-one. I discovered it was the desk clerk after I repeatedly called the front desk and didn't get and answer. So, I gone to the front desk to report the incident and this was when the clerk stated that he was the intruder. His reasoning was that he was coming in to get a pillow and that the computer did not note that it was occupied. After speaking with co-workers who are residence of the Orlando area, they insisted that I make a police report so it may be documented due to the criminal activities happening in the hotels in and around that area. However, I did not make a police report but I did notify the hotel management who verified that the computer did show that I was the occupant of that room. Management apologized for the clerk actions and offered me a free excess to HBO. The offered of excess to HBO was inappropriate, unacceptable and does not compensate for what had happened or what could have happened. So, for this cause my rating for this hotel is 2.5.”

• The fresh fruit salad and warm hard boiled eggs; nutritious breakfast.
• Could hear voices and activity in next room. Not loud but apparent.

“Very pleasant stay. Attractive, spacious, comfortable and clean room. I especially enjoyed the Belgian waffle, boiled egg and fresh fruit salad for breakfast. Convenient to convention center (just a little over a mile) via trolley or by driving on Universal Building (you can avoid congested International Drive). Walk to nearby restaurants.”

• Pet friendly is the only reason we stayed there, fridge & micro.
• Pool deck dirty, no snack bar or mini store, needs maintenance. guy who checked us in Frank.

“They charged authorization on my other card, irritated me I had to call when I got home to get it straight, I usually stay at 3+ rated but I had my dog this weekend, kennels booked.”

• Breakfast was excellent. Parking secure.
• Walls are a little thin.

“The security of the hotel was great for a family. Breakfast buffet was the best I've ever seen. We could hear some music coming from the next room slightly.”
