• The hotel was very nice and it's proximity to Sea World was made it ideal for us.
• The bathroom although acceptable was not as nice as the rest of the room.

“The Embassy Suite on International Drive was better than I had hoped for. The complimentary open bar from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and the full all you can eat breakfast buffet was very nice. The room itself was clean and comfortable and the decor seemed fairly new. The area appeared to be very safe and there was plenty of dining options all within walking distance. The staff was friendly and courteous and they made our stay very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel; especially if your going to the Sea World Parks.”

• Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
• Elevator was very slow.

“Light above kitchen sink was out. Shower lever guard was broken. Sauna was not working. Only one hot tub jet was working. Refrigerator leaked. Room was very noisy window faced the highway. Breakfast was very nice. Staff was great.”

• The staff were very courteous and helpful.
• They had parking spots blocked off for service vehicles and it was hard to find a space.

“Embassy Suites is exactly what you'd expect a big clean room, good hot breakfast, and a free happy hour in the evening. I have not complaints.”

• I liked the complimentary full breakfast.
• I didn't like the bed sizes - it seemed to be single not double.

“This hotel was a great find! The complimentary full breakfast saved us at least $40! The location was great - plenty of restaurants, activities, and shops were within walking distance. We would definitely stay there again!”

• Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms only one complaint.
• In room 319 we could hear the elevator mechanisms turning over constantly so asked to be moved, was told the room below gets the most complaints.

“We had a really good time here. One other complaint I forgot was the sausages always seemed undercooked at breakfast. They said they do them that way because they're in a steamer so keep on cooking as they are kept warm, but as a family with young children it didn't make me comfortable to allow my kids to eat them. Don't cook so many at once is what I say so they don't sit there so long. Other than that and the elevator noise which kept me awake we loved the place and would happily go back anytime. Location was great, staff were the nicest people all the time and the suites gave you much more space than all sharing one room. The bedroom is at the back so you couldn't hear other people coming and going from their rooms or walking down the hallways. Each room had a microwave and a fridge which we loved as it saved us a bit of money on dining out. The buffet breakfast was enjoyable overall and I think we all managed to gain weight. Having an indoor and outdoor pool was great because if it was too cold we could still swim inside. I think they'd be terribly disappointed not to go back there.”

• Great luxury style suits with modern fixtures and furnishings.
• Old style tube TV.

“This hotel has a great location with complimentary shuttle to area attractions. The rooms are up to date and have zen inspired lamps and layout. The rooms are very comfy. The staff is also very friendly. I have stayed at dozens of hotels in this area of International Drive. This is the nice part, the South part, which has more green space. You can walk or stumble home from area restaurants and watering holes. Pointe Orlando has Adobe Gillas, a Mex place to drink, eat and watch bands. Cafe Tu Tu Tango is also walk able, a Bohemian artsy place with exotic apps, belly dancing and art. In short, the rooms are like nicely furnished apartments.”

• Breakfast and managers reception.
• Turning away guest that were a few minutes. Late for breakfast. Bad smell in my room when I notified frt. Desk they offered no solution to correct prob.

“The hotel was okay. The exercise room was under construction which was one of the reasons I booked there, so that I could get my am exercise. The staff started pulling food from the breakfast buffet before people were finished in line getting there breakfast order. At one point three of the four elevators were not working. The one of the two hot tubs outside were broke. My room had a very sour smell and when I notified the front desk they did not offer to compensate.”

“I waited almost three hours to get in. It was a really tasty pizza, but not the best thing on Earth as many claim. The crust was soggy. I would much rather have stuffed pies from Giordano's in Chicago!”

• Construction and remodeling in progress; children intermingled in the adult happy hour area.

“I am usually pleased with Embassy Suite hotels as great business traveler hotels. This hotel's proximity to both a convention center and Orlando attractions captures a tourist-family mix which for the normal business traveler accustomed to other properties is odd. The manager's welcome typically known as the happy hour had children in the same bartender line as adults requesting mixed drinks, wine and beer placing orders for sodas. The hotel is remodeling several floors, which upon check in was a complete let down, since I've read online horror stories from travelers getting great deals only to find the sound of jack hammers all day and night. Fortunately the hotel had the work confined to certain hours and honored my request to be moved to a higher less loud floor. For the other customers directly above the noise I could only empathize. Overall, I think the hotel performs the best it can give what's under way. The staff was great, hotel clean, food buffet great and location ideal. In spite of these details I would still recommend the hotel to traveling families, for the business traveler, I'd find a different hotel.”

• I really liked the separate bedroom and the living room. It was a nice touch.
• I wish they would offer the breakfast buffet until a later time. 9:30 is too early to close it down.

“This hotel was great. Location was great to walk to different restaurants, shops and small tourist areas like replays and titanic. Room was really nice with fridge, micro and separate bedroom. The inside atrium was also a very nice touch. Does need a little cosmetic updating, but it looks like they are working on that.”
