“Do not stay here! Beware! They will show you a beautiful room and when you get there you will have nothing better then a Motel 8 maybe a little larger. We were there and someone went to the bathroom in the pool 2 and it should have been closed down and emptied for 48 hours! Guess what it was open in 30 minutes. God forbid there is a fire youre all dead. Due to all the emergency lanes and hydrants being covered by any car hat could not find a spot. If you do not mind living in Harlem you will love Westgate! They are friendly at the door and then you are just a number.”

“We absolutely loved this resort! It was in the perfect location. The staff was great. It is very family friendly. I really liked the resort because it was gated and checked 24 hours a day. The staff actually checked too. If you didn't have a pass, you were not getting in this place. We felt safe. The only complaint I had, was parking. The lots were small and it was a nightmare trying to find a parking spot. But the good definitely out weighs the bad. The rooms were perfect size. The bed was comfortable. We have a great time.”

“I am shocked to see the reviews other guest have left. I have been an owner of the Lakes for a few years and have had very little complaints. The rooms have always been clean and equipped with everything we need. Granted it may be loud if you are next to a pool just like any hotel you go to, otherwise its quiet. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I only speak of the resort staff, not sales. They are well who they are, trying to sell. I always enjoy staying here each year and is getting better each time we go. We now have granite marble, bigger hot tubs and flat screen TV's in our room. Very homey and luxurious. And the location is great. Very easy to get to and from the interstate and Disney parks.”

“Rooms are loud, though on 5th floor. Did Timeshare presentation. WHAT A JOKE! Salesperson VERY Unprofessional! When said not interested, became rude and cold to us. Sales person does NOT belong there at all!”

“This place is the pits. The room was filthy and full of roaches. They wouldn't let us move rooms. The staff were horrible rude. We learned, of course, that the reason the place is cheap is they want to sell you a timeshare in this dump. The salespeople were incredibly pushy and called us all sorts of Names when we wouldn't buy. My husband is an accountant. In other words, thousands of dollars for 1 week a year. I know the only reason people buy is to escape the '90 minute ' 4 hour sales presentation. This is time you will never get back. .”

“We went to review the timeshare, suppose to be 1-1/2 hour presentation. Started at 11:00are and they didn't stop pushing until near 5:00pm. Ruined one entire day of our vacation. Lasted nearly 6 hours and drove on a tour a mile away from our car. The sales staff started to get too pushy into buying and didn't even help in getting us back to our vehicle. We walked the 1 mile as I was about to call the police to help. They take you to the other side of the resort and leave you if you¿re not a buyer. This is a very misinterpreted presentation. We were interested in the first hour but five hours of what we would call harassment brought us to discouragement. The previous reviews are correct. Very noisy, not private at all, the grounds are not well groomed and none of the help can speak English, am I not in America?! The model rooms were fine but walking past others it was obvious that it was an exception. Right next to the expressway, very noisy, cattail infested lake, no beach and certainly caters to the vulnerable. I will stay with Marriott¿s. Westgate couldn't hold a candle to grandee vista resort at 5925 avoidant vista, Orlando. Phone 407-238-0900.seriously! I'm not ashamed to list my Name against this place.”

“Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Very crowded and very noisy hotel. People screaming in the pool until after 1:00 am and again at 7:00am. This complex is so crowded that it is hard to relax. They want you to buy a timeshare and will pester you constantly.”
