• Everything about this place is horrible.

“Horrible! Believe me when I say stay somewhere else! This place was downright scary. I am not normally a complainer but this place should not be allowed to stay in business. Totally misrepresented pictures. Dirty, smelly bug infested with sheets that are so old they are threadbare. The water is not even clear coming out of the sink-ugh! Flee to another place. Do not waste your time or money. Location was great so look for another hotel in the area. ”

• Cheap Rates, Comfy beds, nice cleaning staff, great pools, fantastic
• Bit slow on the customer service, but gets there in the end....

“After a shakey start to the holiday, mainly due to the hurricane, we had a pleasent stay in the hotel... We were very satisfied with the value for money and would reccommend the hotel. The rooms were well kept, the pools were great and the people were all in all nice. Customer service was ok, maybe a bit quicker would help.... the only problem we experienced was the slighlty musty odour that came from the air conditioning...overall fantastic!!!”

“The location is excellent, right across from McDonalds. The breakfast buffet for $4.99, and 1 kid per adult eats free, was good. The rooms are pretty clean, but the bathrooms definitely need some repair. The complimentary shuttle was an hour late. The best thing about the hotel is the price and location, very near Universal and Intl. Drive.”

• I think that this hotel shouldn't even get one star. It a true DUMP!!!!

“This hotel is runned down, nothing like it looks in the pictures. We had to walk through a dark path way with no lights to get to our room. The door did not shut with out kicking it. The sheets were dirty, the maid service never came. The key to the door had to be fixed after every use. The shuttle stunk....and while waiting for a shuttle, a rat ran across my foot inside the building. Travelers be ware!!!!!”

• What a completely horrible bathroom!!! The grout was BLACK and toilet had disgusting stains - it was just gross everywhere.

“The Days Inn Lakeside has a wonderful location on Sand Lake - you can walk to really excellent restaurants, we ate at an upscale Italian restaurant called Antonio's - it was very impressive and very tasty! Excellent wine and service, I was really pleased and want to go back! There are plenty of restaurants around, most of them look very nice and it was hard to choose. The hotel is also very conveniently located minutes away from Universal Orlando and Wet 'N Wild is a few blocks down on International Drive. Beware! Traffic is HORRIBLE in Orlando, plan about 20-25 minutes over normal driving time to get anywhere... and even more during rush hours. Days Inn Lakeside features an outdoor pool and also an outdoor heated pool. The pools look nice enough, nothing fancy... it was too cold and rainy for swimming the night we stayed. The Tiki Bar was closed due to the weatehr but apparently they serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks by the lake. These are wonderful amenities for this hotel class, it's difficult to find a hotel with a heated pool and tiki bar for the price.The interior of the room was very standard. Even better to say a bare minimum. Our room had two double beds and a bathroom... nothing fancy for sure but the heater worked, which was important for us! Overall, the room was OK except the bathroom. If you are nauseated easily I wouldn't recommend this hotel! The bathroom was awful, the tile grout on the floors, walls and around the tub was black. Really, I'd never seen anything like this black mold looking junk - horrible! The toilet had some seriously disgusting stains and I was afraid to use it the entire night... The tub was a little better, but with the rest of the room in such disrepair, I was pretty scared to take a shower too. There was even some funky stains and weird looking smears all over the walls, like something out of a bad movie. It pretty much ruined my good review of the hotel.”

• Great view poolside, awesome maid service, nicely furnished
• Very low water pressure in shower, mold on bathroom wall, can hear all upstairs activity

“Overall I am pleased...I would highly recommend though that one booking get a poolside view rather than the main road or parking lot and that you book a room on the top floor since being on the bottom you can hear everytime someone walks across the floor upstairs. The water pressure however was awful making showers take twice as long having to wash in a trickle almost of water.”

• I liked that it was on a busy road with lots of shops and restaurant.
• The room was dirty, it had small roaches on the floor and the wall paper was peeled off showing mold.

“Needs to be cleaned up and fumigated.”

• I liked nothing about this hotel
• The absolutely worst I have ever stayed

“Plugs didn't work. TV kept coming unplugged from the wall because the outlet was so bad. Heating/air conditioning unit had no knobs. Had to have maintenance come and turn it on with plyers. We checked out a day early. This place was filthy! I am not a complainer. I have never written a review but please do not stay at this place. One evening we came back from Disney and they had made the beds but not given us any toilet paper or new towels. We had to call the front desk and wait 30 minutes just to be able to use the restroom. We complained at least 10 times when we were there and the manager offered us a free breakfast buffet. We said no thank you sir! We will just be leaving now. We are sick and tired of the filth and fire hazards. We will never be back to this hotel again. please do not stay at this hotel. We had stayed at the other Days Inn Orlando at the beginning of 2004 and it was wonderful. It is only this one that is just horrid.”

• It wasnt too bad, could of used a little fixing up

“Nice location to Seaworld and International drive. Excellent breakfast buffett. And the staff was very friendly. They need to remodel the rooms. But overall was great stay. ”
