• It was quiet.
• The hotel is relatively new, but has not been well maintained.

“This hotel is moderately priced and near a number of areas of public parks and shopping and dining possibilitties. It has, however, not been well maintained and there are areas that are showing serious wear. The pool area in particular is a bit shabby.”

• The location was quite convenient for attending a concert at Blossom Music Center and our return trip on the Ohio turnpike.
• The access road needs to be re-paved.

“The Comfort Inn provided all the comforts of home. The king size bed provided a great night rest. The breakfast area was nicely decorated. The staff was helpful in providing directions. The hotel is located in a quiet area. We had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this particular hotel.”

• Price.
• No elevator and there are two floor, not enough rooms with double beds.

“Staff was very young and not very friendly. Rooms were not ready when we got there at 4:30. We had to wait 40 min. To get a room on the first floor we would have to wait 2-3 hours! Air conditioner was very loud. Bed was comfortable.”

“The hotel was very nicely kept and beautifully decorated. We really like their free breakfast. The room had a nice layout with the bedroom having a privacy door. The refrigerator and microwave were awesome additions. Staff was very helpful and polite.”

“Good value, close to freeway but no traffic noise. Construction on the road in front slowed travel times.”

• The price was inexpensive. I guess you get what you pay for.
• Hotel was dirty, needed repairs. Limited cleaning staff excellent for what they could accomplish.

“The hotel desk clerk upon arrival was gracious to try to make us comfortable until we could get a larger room for the 5 of us. We were supposed to be switched into another room in the morning. Not so. We did switch rooms. From a King size bed room to a 2 double bed room. The 2nd. Room was a smoking room. Smelled like hundreds of gym locker socks. We're not smokers. Toilet ran. Slightly stopped up, we had to plunge it! Bathroom sink almost completely stopped up. Hairdryer broken. Heating/Air unit had a mind of its own. Nasty carpet and bathroom tub. Telephone message light wouldn't stop flashing. Our first room had a leaky shower and water ran into the floor tile. Dangerous. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Rubbery, room temp. Hard boiled eggs, coffee tastes like cigarette ashes and juices watered down and the milk wasn't kept cold. These items are key. Someone could get sick. Overall, we just didn't feel like the hotel wanted us there.”

• It use to be a nice hotel, however, things change.
• The pool dirty, bathroom stunk, mold in tub area, carpet dirty, though it was vacuumed. Hot tub still not working.

“So, sorry that the standards of this hotel have gone down hill. The new ownership has hurt it. The pool is dirty. The bathroom in the room we had smelled of pee. The shower had mold growing in the corners and under the handy cap handles. The carpet though vacuumed was dirty. They still claim they have a spa. However, it is broken. That same spa was broken some three years ago went we stayed there. It is a shame to see such a nice hotel go down hill.”
