• Clean, convenient
• Smelled everywhere -- room, elevator, etc.

“Hotel was good in most ways except it was quite dated in the rooms even though the exterior of the hotel was new looking, and it .... smelled. Not sure why, just smelled everywhere. Maybe old carpet. Stayed at several Hampton House hotels in the FL area, and none of them smelled.”

• Great location, nice amenities and nice staff.
• False fire-alarm in the middle of the night and woken up at 6:45 am each day by lawnmower outside room.

“It was a nice hotel in a great location, but we were disappointed on our first night when at 10:00 pm the fire alarm went off and we spent the next 45 minutes outside with all the other guests. I can understand a problem happening, but the other guests said it had happened the night before also. The staff was nice about it, but didn't seem prepared to help guests through the situation or offer anything as an apology. Also, as vacationers, we were there to relax and instead were woken up both mornings by a lawn mower outside the room at 6:45 am.”

• Clean, friendly.
• Did not provide free shuttle to downtown Disney which is only 1.5 miles away.

“The hotel was great; however the restaurant was expensive. They should provide a shuttle service to Downtown Disney for free, since it is only 1.5 miles from the hotel.”

“I had just spent several nights in a Disney Moderate Hotel, the room at this hotel were much bigger. It was amazing the amount of space we got! I am actually considering staying at this hotel this summer instead of my usual Disney hotel.”

• Comfortable bedding and pillows!
• Right turn from hotel toward the Disney parks was busy with traffic and the light wasn't long enough.

“The bedding and pillows were perfect. The blankets were all clean and soft. There was a comfortable side chaise that my 3 year old slept on. The hotel had a nice balcony with a sliding glass door looking out over the pool area.
Everything was clean and nice looking.”

“As with so many hotels in the Disney area, Marriot stamped their name on a property that was ok, but not worthy of the Marriot name. When one goes to a Marriot, excellence is expected, not average.”

• Parking is a bit tight.

• No microwave in the room we were in.

• Within walking distance to many restraints.
• No free shuttle to downtown Disney.

“Good hotel with excellent facilities. The pool is small but very acceptable. Probably the smallest hot tub I have ever seen. The maximum occupancy is 3 people. The area is excellent is walking to many restraints. It is a safe area and the hotel provides free on time shuttle service to the Disney parks. I wish there was a free shuttle to downtown Disney.”

• Located very near Disney complex, Crossroads and not too far from Universal and Sea World.
• No room service. One cup coffee maker. No lounge.

“The Courtyard by Marriott Lake Buena Vista is in an extremely convenient location if you wish to visit the theme parks. The staff is friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable with most of the usual amenities. The in room coffee maker would only brew one cup at a time, which was somewhat inconvenient, and the hotel charged us a hefty fee to switch from two double beds to one king size, although that is a very standard choice and they had plenty of rooms. We were not asked our preference up front, just assigned a room. Other than that, our three days there were very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers.”
