• Run down, bad organization, poor AC, the list goes on.

• Very close to lots of restaurants.
• Low water pressure, cold water, poor
  TV reception, dirty room, ants in the room.

“This is not at all what I expected from a two-star hotel. I think it is more accurate to classify it as a one-star hotel. I had to change rooms because the first room I was in had poor TV reception -even though it was hooked up to cable. The 2nd room I was in wasn't much better (although the TV reception was fine). It still lacked much water pressure, took forever for the water to get warm (not even close to hot), the floor was dirty, and the room had a strange smell to it.”

• Breakfast was good.
• The room just had a dirty feel about it.

“The hotel was just ok. Not the best place I've stayed. The room felt kind of dirty and sort of smelled like smoke. The only good thing about this hotel was the continental breakfast.”

• The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Roaches in the first room, spiders in the 2nd.

• Lobby and dining room were beautiful. A delicious breakfast was included which was unexpected.
• Compared to the beautiful lobby, the rooms were just average.

“When you first arrive it is difficult to find the entrance to this over the top, beautiful lobby with it's baby grand piano. Lovely dining room which serves a delicious full breakfast. The rooms have 2 double beds and are just average. The staff is very helpful.”

• It was conveniently located.
• Not in great repair.

“Breakfast was very good, with omelets cooked to order. Staff was friendly. Hotel not in great repair. Our non-smoking room had a faint odor of smoke. Probably wouldn't stay there again.”

• Great breakfast, pretty lobby. Staff was fast.
• Noise outdoors, carpet dirty, tile floor didn't look clean.

“I was attracted that they give a full breakfast and at a great hotel price. The lobby is renovated and there is plenty to eat in the morning. The rooms are neat but they need to replace the carpet as you can tell it's an old hotel. Great TV and AC. One bed had pillow top and the other didn't. There was noisy alarm going off outside for 10 mins and someone finally got it stopped. Staff was fast and professional.”

• The pool was nice and the breakfast was really good.
• I didn't like the main entrance to the hotel. We had to make a U-turn on a 4 lane to get to the hotel.

“The hotel was about what I expected for a 2 star. The beds were nice and clean and the bathroom was clean. Although, the bathroom did have mildew along the ceiling tiles that was very noticeable. The staff was very friendly and they were helpful with information about the surrounding area. The staff in the breakfast room was cordial and accommodated our requests at breakfast each morning. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.”

• Nothing. I am very disappointed overall.
• Again, very disappointed in the entire stay.

“When returned to our room on 7/25 to find our hotel room door wide open, unattended. Complaint was met with the excuse that locks were being changed even though the maintenance crew was no where to be found.”

• Convenient and safe.
• Roaches in room; 1 hour to make breakfast.

“The hotel appears nice from the outside and the room appeared somewhat neat, but very dated. The doorknob to the bathroom was broken, so you couldn't shut the door completely. There were live roaches in the room. I also saw a couple of dead roaches in the dining area. We gave the chef our ticket for custom omelets. We got one, and then the chefs left to get more eggs. There were also no high chairs for the baby.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The access to the hotel.

“This was not my first visit to this hotel but it had been over a year since. I found major improvements and was very pleased with everything about it. I stayed over the July 4th weekend and the motel was packed but I heard no noise or and disturbances. Housekeeping kept my room clean and well cared for. I will recommend this hotel to everybody. Family friendly. Handicap friendly. People friendly.”

• Weekend reception staff friendly and courteous.
• Weekday reception staff discourteous.

“The lack of a working computer at this hotel put my trip in jeopardy, as I stayed there 4 days and needed daily internet access in order to communicate with my staff. This created a serious problem for me and my business.”

• Hard to find the entrance- maid forgot to give us towels- then they took 2 days to answer air requests for towels.

• Sleeping with Roaches and adjacent room with no locks.

“Comments: Just want to bring to your attention that in no way shape or form this hotel should have been considered 2 Star Category Hotel. I dont understand the factors that make hotel particular stars but the Rooms have cockroaches and a hotel looking like a mortuary right beside the freeway is not an ideal place to go vacationing. Hope that these comments would be taken seriously and conveyed to your Sr Mgmt.”

• The breakfast is the best thing going and that's not too great.
• The sinks were dirty. The shower did not drain because its loaded with sand.

“The sinks were dirty so they weren't clean. When we took showers the water would fill up in the tub because of the amount of sand still in the tubs. The toilet didn't flush properly 90% of the time. If your renting services its fine for a night.”

• Was happy with everything.

“The landscaping was beautiful, loved the pool, the room was clean, enjoyed a large breakfast with home made waffles. Gorgeous lobby, and new management.”
