• The suite was excellent.
• They made us move out of the suite into a small room before the end of our stay.

“I booked a suite for 12 nights. I was very happy with the suite till after 5 days there the main desk called my room and told me that I would have to move to a small room because they rented the hotel to an adult party and could not have any children in the suites during that time. I have 2 - 12 year old girls. They did not tell me this at the time of booking. They called me at 8:00 AM and I had to be packed and out by 12:00 noon. I was very unhappy with the small room they put us in and there were no reduction in the rate so I cut my vacation short by 4 days because I was so unhappy with them and of course there were no refunds because of early checkout. I felt that they should have told me this at the time of booking. I expected to have the suite during my whole stay.”

• Everybody seemed to be positive and upbeat including the support staff as well as fellow travelers.
• The resort fee that I was required to pay when checking in was not something I expected when selecting a two star property. I fealty taken advantage of.

“Property overall appeared to be in well kept condition. Room was bright and cheery. Everything worked properly in the room. Quiet location and room. Near all services. Excellent well lighted parking. The property had a safe feeling. I would certainly stay again, but was not pleased about the resort fee that I was required to pay!”

• The price was good and the hotel was set up nicely.

“The building and facilities were nice. the breakfast was excellent. the location of our room was a complete joke.40ft. From i-40.i found bugs in the bath tub. the staff had no knowledge of our payment that was made 5 month ago. we were charged a resort fee of $17.00per room. it took us over 45 minutes to check in. I was totally embarrassed in front of my group. the noise from the highway kept us up for 2 entire nights. I was completely disappointed with the whole experience. The staff was not friendly and looked like they needed sleep.”

“The room I booked and reserved was not available when we arrived. They double charged my credit card for the stay. I tried to resolve it 3 times with the hotel before contacting my credit company. No one would call me back.”

• This hotel is pet-friendly and the rooms are suites.
• The air conditioning is set so you can't get the room cool enough. Not a great thing in Florida.

“This hotel is laid out as 8 separate buildings in a semi-circle around the lobby/registration building. It is clean and relatively quiet. You can hear traffic on the side by I-4, so, if that would bother you, request a room away from the highway. It is a "no frills" hotel, but the rooms are suites that include a 2 burner stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave. A free light breakfast is offered until 9AM. I've stayed in this hotel on multiple occasions, but noticed on the last 2 trips that the A/C no longer gets the rooms very cool. This didn't use to be a problem before the change in ownership about 2 years ago. ”

• The buffet was good in the morning.
• It was the dirtiest and most poorly managed hotel I have ever stayed at.

“This hotel was very dirty and not maintained well. Our room had a ceiling that leaked whenever the people upstairs drained their bathtub! The pool is full of mold and mildew, there is garbage in the bushes, the pool furniture is old and rusty with plastic chairs that are full of old dirt. The paint is peeling off the buildings and there is mold on the windowsills in the rooms. Every room is a smoking room and our room stunk of stale cigarettes. There were holes in the bedspreads and blankets and cigarette burns as well. The management did nothing to correct problems, like refusing to give us 2 light bulbs for our 2 lamps! What a filthy hotel for the money they charge!”
