• For the money it was a good place to sleep. The beds were clean and so was the room.
• The concierge tried to sell me a time-share before he would give me my parking pass, it was 11:00pm at night and I had two young children with me.

“I took my two young children to Disney and it was very convenient to where we were going. The room was clean, but the heat didn't seem to work. It didn't get too cold and the blankets on the bed were warm enough that it really wasn't an issue. Had it been any colder though I would have had to switch rooms. The room and hotel itself showed it's age but for the money it was worth it. My biggest complaint was the fact that the concierge tried to sell me a time-share and would not give me my parking pass until I listened to what he had to say. It was 11:00 pm at night and me and my children were very tired. I politely stated that I was not interested but he kept pushing it anyway.”

“It is a hotel that in one side is more comfortable than the other side. The fridge was small and no microwave, so no take home plates even though you are with kids. We asked about a microwave for the room and they told me that for $12 a day they could provide me with one.”

“Provided transportation to and fro Disneyworld at no charge-provided maps to area beaches-quick to respond to requests and were friendly.”

• Nice restaurant and common area, good location.
• Room was old, outdated, bathroom was very small, outdated and needed extensive (proper) repairs.

“The hotel's common areas were very nice, such as the lobby, restaurant, shops, pool areas and patios. Inside the room was a different story, the room itself and the bathroom was old and outdated needing extensive repairs. Additionally these repairs should be done by qualified professionals, as some repairs done in the room were quite evidently done by none professionals in a hurry. I would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone I know. I was surprised to see the Ramada Corp put their name on a building with rooms of this inferior stature.”

• Nothing to speak of - very nice place.

• Just about nothing.
• Dept of health desperately needed.

“The rooms have been run into the ground refrigerator door off hinges no shelves left, TV had the cable connection guts off, door lock broke, sink not working (my husband fixed it), free shuttle but only for eight people in the whole hotel rest about 40 were left on sidewalk a hotel shuttle filled up and made trips at 3.00 per person, we had to wait 20 min for a room that was not useable until after 8 PM.”

• Cigarette smoke through the air vents in non smoking rooms.

“The hotel was nice, rooms big , mattress very comfortable, but a night very noisy, and the air conditioner had cigarette smoking ventilating through them, even in the non smoking rooms.”

• Bellman and welcoming center employees were friendly.
• Lots of lady bugs on walls, dressers, windows-cleaning staff was lazy.

“Lots of ladybugs in my room, concierge misled me about transportation, front desk was very slow and restaurant staff was slow and inexperienced. Cleaning lady actually stockpiled towels in my room so she didn't have to be bothered. Bellman and welcoming center were friendly warm and helpful. Heated pool was not heated at all!”

“My wife and I stayed at the Ramada plaza gateway from may 5-11 2007. We found the Ramada to be a fair motel. Our room was in the inn section. While the Ramada was no where near full capacity, they put us in one of the rooms all the way in the back. It was quite a walk to the lobby/restaurant area. Not afraid of a walk, but did enough at Disney /universal. Our room was clean. Had working a/c cable TV, mini fridge and coffee maker. Shower worked fine. We returned each day to clean room fresh towels and new coffee packs. The maid staff here does a fine job. The young lady who checked us in seemed very confused. She seemed to have great difficulty finding our reservation, even with the conformation slip from our travel agent who has never let us down. After 10 minutes a more experienced coworker brought it up instantly. We were all new at a job once so we did not hold it against her or the Ramada. I do wonder if her coworker had not stepped in, how long hoe would have kept looking, without asking for help. The smoke house grill was open for breakfast and dinner. We did not try it. There was never more than a few people even at the busy times, usually not a good sign. The breakfast buffet at 12$ could not compete with the poderosas at 5$. The deli seem to close much earlier more than once then the sign on the door posting the hours said it should. I did once buy a 2 litre bottle of soda for 3 dollars and change. As soon as we checked in we were escorted (pushed!) To the concierge (attractions) desk where they were offering greatly discounted Disney, universal etc tickets at greatly discounted prices. We already had three day hopper passes for the Disney attractions but wanted 1 day universal studios/ island of adventure passes. There are connected and you can do both in one day. About a 300$ value which they were going to give us for 100$ plus a free breakfast buffet. The catch is this Ramada is actually owned by Westgate resorts which are actually a huge timeshare conglomerate. You have to attend the buffet and a 90 minute high pressure sales pitch. You can refuse and will get your tickets at the agreed upon price, but its worse than root canal.”

• The a/c worked well.
• Seaman dried on the blankets floor was moped but not swept hair on floor the room smelled of mildew very noisy dark green walls depressing.

“I think this hotel should pay me to stay there it was awful no room service to speak of what they called a deli offered three before made sandwiches the bar was never even opened it was a time share sales trap and I would not recommend this place a kennel much less a decent place to stay.”

• The location is great for the Disney Resorts. The staff were friendly. The beds were clean and very comfortable.
• The carpets were a little stained. The bathrooms are old looking and the tub tiles have some stains, but it was clean.

“It was an overall good experience. I would choose this Hotel again. Well worth the price I paid.”

• The staff treated us like dogs.

“Disgusting rooms, disgusting customer service, broken heat in room, when we complained security was called and then the sheriff, then my husband and I and our sick 4 year old that was vomiting were evicted from the hotel at 10pm when it was 30 degrees outside. We were treated inhumanely! ”

• Nice staff, lobby, swimming pools, and a small gym.
• Bath room and shower should be cleaner.

“I think this place is well worth the money I paid with this site. Although their rates are much higher if you get the room from the hotel. rooms were clean, (the showers could be cleaner) lobby is nice. Again, for the money I paid, this was a good deal.”

• Only a certain amount of interior hallway rooms the rest are motel style, failed to mention in description if hotel.
