• Lobby was pleasing to the eye.
• Hotel review states "newly remodeled" not so in our room.

“I have stayed in red roof inns and other moderate level hotels that were nicer and cleaner. The beds were lumpy and the sheets and towels very rough. Although some rooms might have been, ours certainly was not. Overall very disappointed.”

• Room was dirty, mold In bathroom, horrible beds.

“This hotel was horrible, the room was dirty, and the vents on the a/c unit were covered In dust and chunks of dirt. The bathroom was moldy and the toilet kept running, after 3 times of having someone fix It I just dealt with It. The beds were not comfortable and the pillows were small squares, 8x8 that Is not a pillow! I would never stay In this hotel again and told people from my company the same.”

• The new section was recently remodeled so the rooms were beautiful decorated and very clean.
• The restaurant staff and management were terribly rude to the point we left with food/drink on the table.

“The new section's rooms are beautifully remodeled. My husband and I along with our three children dined in the restaurant for breakfast and were treated so rudely by our waiter we actually left with food/drink on the table. A very rude comment was made to my 11 yr old son when he made a special request for a menu item he was told "come on. What you expect kid, youre eating for free! Kids eat free at Holiday Inn's. Would recommend the hotel but go elsewhere to eat!”

• Nice location from Cleveland, near highway.
• Our room had stains on the wall, carpet. Not as nice as expected.

“The hotel was in a nice location. Near the highway, safe area, etc. The hotel could have been much cleaner. In our room there were stains on the wall and carpet. It was a non-smoking room, but there was a hint of smoke in the air when we entered.”

• The free business center computer.
• The dining room staff. Weak link at hotel.

“The room was adequate. I phoned the desk for toothpaste, and I'm still waiting 3 days later. The restaurant experience was horrible. The food was fine, it was the staff. The hostess was young, and couldn't handle both seating people, and taking care of their bills. When my 86 year old aunt asked the waiter for water after we had been seated for about 5 minutes, he sarcastically said that he saw us and would get to us when he was finished with what he was doing.”

• I like that it had a fitness center right next to the pool area.
• No hot tub.

“I enjoyed my stay at the holiday inn. I have stayed in other hotels like this before and have always been satisfied with the services and accommodations.”

• The common areas.
• It was probably nice in the 80's I would say every thing about the room needed updated.

“While the common areas were nice the room was in need of up dates. I actually turned on the light in the middle of the night to see if I was sleeping on box springs. The Amerisuites across 77 is a real 3 star HI. Is at best two.”

• Good room service meals, close to major highway.
• Heater vents blew right onto bed should've been at foot of bed by desks.

“We stayed at a 2 star Comfort Suite in Columbus the night before that was 1/2 the cost and a little cleaner and more comfortable, although no room service was available there.”

• Pillows and beds were much more comfortable than I had expected from a Holiday Inn.
• The bath tub was cracked and the door for the connecting room was very flimsy and light shined through the button of the door all night long.

“For an older hotel they have done a nice job of keeping up. Bathrooms and doors could use an upgrade.”

“If you can sleep on just about anything, and you like the convenience of a night club in your hotel, stay here. The staff is very friendly enough but don't seem to really care about customer satisfaction. With so many other 3stars at this exit, stay elsewhere! ”

• Saturday night parking was difficult.

“Nice restaurant. Lounge as active as ever on Saturday night. Friendly staff. Room nicely maintained and big enough. Would have liked to have more coffee packets in the room.”

• Hotel was more than 15 miles from my business event - old and poorly maintained facility.

“Clean and friendly. Rock hard mattress. My first "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke. Front desk immediately sent someone up with a key for a new room that smelled better.”

• Very bad service! Had some money taken from room bye the cleaners. The rooms where very noisy and the party went all night without anything being said.

• The waitresses were very friendly and helpful.
• I did not get a smoke free room as requested. Toilet overflowed!

“They insisted no smoke free rooms were available and put me on a smoking floor with loud parties going on and children running down the hall until 11pm.They told me they were sold out for the evening and I had no other choice of rooms yet at the desk another customer arrived one week ahead of his reservations and they accommodated him with no problem. Within 10 min. of arrival to the room the toilet backed up and overflowed. They did come attend to it in a half hour but it still did not help as I was already upset over the smoking room.”
