• Well maintained with excellent staff in a very good location.
• No microwave in room.

“This hotel is well suited for business travelers. It is well maintained and I have found a consistency in its services over several stays. The staff is very competent and efficient at check-in and check-out.”

• Friendly staff.
• Overprice breakfast.

“Nice hotel but go to McDonald's for breakfast. $10 is crazy. Also they only have a cable internet so be careful of your band width usage or they will cut you off.”

• The pool was so warm. It made the night great!
• The breakfast buffet was a little steep for a family with 5 kids.

“I wish all hotels had the pool area as nice as this one. The breakfast meal was printed in the room as 9.95 and it was 10.95 at the restaurant. That set a damper on the morning meal. Otherwise, we had a good time.”

• Near freeway, but back off from site, hard to find.

• The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Plus well situated.
• Only one computer was available.

“As I said, It was another great experience in class and spirit. Well staffed with pleasant and knowledgeable personnel. They were willing to help and gave good advice. Room clean and comfortable. Very luxurious. Great location for downtown Cleveland. Don't know about public transportation, but easy access for driving a car. For me it was great!”

• The hotel was quiet, rooms were comfortable and staff was helpful and friendly.
• The loveseat in the room had some issues. Breakfast cost almost $10/person.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing get away. There were families there with kids but we never heard any noise at all. The evening desk staff gave us several good ideas and were very helpful. Breakfast buffet was available for $9.95 per person which I don't feel is moderate. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable.”

• Very clean and in an excellent safe and beautiful location. Only minutes from downtown Cleveland.
• The breakfast buffet is $10 for what most hotels give you for free!

“This hotel is a great place to stay when in the Cleveland area. Independence is a cute and safe town with lots of restaurants close by. The McDonalds is even a colonial brick building with 2 floors! The hotel was in excellent condition with a pool and workout center. Staff was friendly and coffee is available 24 hours a day. Internet/printer available in the lobby for free and lots of tourism brochures and menu book for nicer restaurants in the area. Lobby sitting area great! There is a nice gazebo and garden area outside to sit and talk also.”

• Friendly staff. Very helpful with local menus and directions. Clean, comfortable hotel.
• In-room A/C was a little loud.

“Very clean and comfortable hotel. It was a direct 15-minute drive to Progressive Field. The staff was friendly, and I was impressed when I asked for restaurant information that they had a guide typed up with restaurants by category, with directions to each. They also gave me a slip of paper with easy directions to Progressive Field (home of the Cleveland Indians) with suggested exits, parking, etc. It was obvious that the hotel staff/management was well prepared and anticipated the needs of their guests.”

• I liked the room and location.
• Some of the hotel workers were snooty.

“The hotel is a good place to stay. The employees are judgmental about the appearance of a person. This is just my opinion because I have no concrete proof of my opinion. I was just reading the employees body postures and facial expression. There was several employees that I felt are worthy of great praise. Housekeeping and groundkeeper.”

• Easy accessibility to the interstate, nice clean room and lobby.
• Sure wish they did a complimentary breakfast buffet. Other than that, this is a fine hotel for the business traveler.

“What am I going to tell you? This is a nice clean hotel with full amenities and a friendly staff. There's nothing special about it, but they do take their jobs seriously and provided a pleasant stay for me while I was in town on business.”
