• It was away from the main road and quiet.
• The internet was down for the first day of my stay.

“It was a nice hotel - clean and quiet. It is off the main road, which is nice but not as convenient to the university area as some other hotels. The internet wasn't working my first day, but worked the second day. Everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was good.”

• The staff was fabulous. They were very helpful and accommodating.
• The room was non-smoking, but was right beside a smoking room, so some of the smell came in our room.

• Large room, fold out sofa, fridge and microwave - perfect for our family.
• Surface outside the pool was somewhat slippery.

“Nice hotel, located off the street - up on a hill. Front desk staff
was very knowledgeable of the area and very helpful. Was unsure what to expect - was using priceline for the first time. We were blown away by the room - very large - perfect for our family needs. Wish we had had longer to stay!”

• Cleanliness and feel safe staying there with young children.
• Limited selection of TV channels.

“We especially like staying at the Best Western in Boone. The hotel offers an indoor pool, and a very nice public area. There is not a restaurant on location but there are restaurants close by (not within walking distance). I travel with my young daughter so one of my biggest concerns is safety and cleanliness. I feel safe when we are at the Best Western and the hotel is very clean.”

• The staff was friendly and greatings were met with a warm welcome.
• Extremely busy waited on the front desk for a while 1 person working.

“We arrived the day after Christmas. When we checked in we waited for about 15 minutes, they only had one front desk person working. The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean. This was a busy time of the season, but I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Spacious room with a Jacuzzi and fireplace (gas).
• Fireplace didn't work. Toilet clogged up.

• Best breakfast as far as variety for any taste, service and cleanliness, friendly staff, I loved the hotel for everything.

“The hotel is very convenient to everything, has a beautiful view of the mountains, the rooms were very clean, the staff very helpful and friendly. And I was so impressed with their breakfast bar, very friendly and helpful lady, cleaned up the tables immediately when someone left. Nicest Best Western we ever stayed in.

• Neat area, staff was friendly, room clean.
• Could feel springs in the bed when sitting down. Could smell smoke in hallway (as if someone was smoking).

• Clean hotel with friendly staff at a nice price.
• Location was not as central as I'd hoped.

“We were visiting Boone for a quick trip before my son goes back to school. We wanted a low rate, clean facilities, a free internet + deluxe breakfast. This hotel met all needs. It's a couple minutes from the main drag in Boone, so it's quite convenient to most anything you might need. The staff was super-friendly, the room was clean and in perfect working order, and the breakfast buffet was just right. If we find ourselves in Boone again, we'll definitely consider this hotel for our lodging needs.”

• The service was excellent. The breakfast was unexpectedly good!
• The pool was pretty, the water was murky, and the sides were moldy.

“I would definitely stay here again. My husband and I were in one bed, and our two kids slept in the other one. It was a clean, spacious room, overlooking a mountain and a Lowe's foods (very convenient). The staff was courteous and quick to respond when we had an issue with our toilet. The hotel next door is part of the same chain, so the staff informed us that we could use their laundry facilities. They are free, and even though they are small, they served the purpose. Overall, this was a very good little place for the money. We would recommend it to our friends.”
