• I
  liked the jacuzzi tub in the room. Nice plus.
• I saw a roach on the door of the refrigerator late at night.

“This hotel is in a very convenient location, near restaurants and Grandfather Mountain. Access to the hotel parking lot is easy, however, leaving the hotel parking, if you are turning left, is quite difficult.”

• Very clean and
  helpful staff.
• Only one elevator, at one end of the hallway.

“This is a great hotel for the money. Very clean. Hotel staff was exceptional and friendly. The breakfast was very well done. I will stay there again!”

• Liked the breakfast.
• Doubled the cost because it was new years eve.

“Not a bad hotel. Not light a exits so getting out was a slight pain in the rear. Close to all the stores and plenty of places to eat.”

• The room was spacious and had a sitting area that made it extra luxurious.
• Breakfast a little cramped.

• It had a homey atmosphere.
• It does need some updating in room care.

“I stayed in the same hotel in Charleston SC a few weeks ago and it was a little more cleaner and may have been a newer hotel. The complementary breakfast was not as good in Boone as the one in Charleston, it was ok for the price.”

• The hotel layout user was friendly, also the hotel was perfect for a mountain trip.
• I was pleased with everything at this hotel.

“The hotel was in a good location, very pleasant mountain setting/theme, and the staff was very friendly. We were very pleased with this choice and will stay there again.”

• The handicapped bathroom and the in room Wi-Fi.
• The furniture was well used and definitely needs upgrading.

“It had nice decor with very friendly staff. The in room Wi-Fi is great. The furniture does need to be upgraded. Overall, the stay was comfortable and quite (much needed). Thanks.”

• Cozy, warm, friendly.
• Other noisy children.

“The room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel staff was helpful and the lobby area was great! The continental breakfast was more than we expected. There were noisy children on our hallway late at night and it took only one phone call to the front desk and it was handled quickly. The hotel was clean on the inside and outside. We will definitely stay at this hotel in the future.”

• Inviting lobby decor.
• Supposed to be a non smoking hotel, my room smelled.

“Nice place. A little overpriced, but there was a football game at the local university.”

• I liked the amount of space in my hotel room.
• I did not like that my room did not have a balcony.

“Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space for me and my belongings. I was also happy with the location of the hotel. The only recommendations I have that would have made my stay more enjoyable are a balcony, a DVD player instead of a VCR, and a larger breakfast area. I had to take my breakfast back to my room because there was not enough space. I would definitely return to this hotel again if I were to travel to Boone.”

• Roomy, nice to have fridge and microwave; the bed very comfy. Close to everything.
• The male that checked us in. Somewhat abrupt and not helpful. didn¿t tell us there was a cont. we read this in the hotel room on our last n.
