• Loved the pool.
• Older hotel.

“This is a great hotel. I live in Jacksonville and I took my daughter to this hotel for her birthday. We booked a room and spent the day playing in the pool and weight room. It has a wonderful restaurant The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful.”

• very convenient, easy access to airport, restaurants.
• Upstairs rooms, no easy access. Needs more parking.

“The hotel and the staff were above average. The rooms were spacious and had a good business work area. The shuttle to the airport was very punctual and the driver above average. The entire experience was excellent.”

• Room was clean, comfortable and close to airport with free shuttle.
• No complementary breakfast. Chlorine smell in the lobby.

“Nicely decorated lobby, Inside pool, outside pool, bar, restaurant inside lobby. Room was nice with 2 double beds a desk, table and 2 sofa chairs. Bathroom tub could use some updating such as Jacuzzi otherwise ok.”

• Very nice Holiday Inn, good service at check in and out, either new or recently refurbished room.
• Not a lot of nice restaurants nearby.

• All rooms are outside entrance, not good for safety

“While the hotel is close to the airport, it is in need of updating. Additionall, I do not like hotels with direct access to streets.”

• Very conveniently located and easy to find.
• Restaurant's dishes not clean, room smelled VERY musty. Bugs in room.

“The hotel was not worth it. It first appeared nice, but the room smell and present flying bugs, quickly made our stay less enjoyable. The dishes at the restaurant were not clean (two different eating times).”

• shower was weak

“HI at the Jax airport is a cool resort type hotel with indoor pool and other recreational possibilities. The rooms are quiet...we weren't disturbed at all by other guests and guest services. We didn't wake until 9:30 that morning!”

• They had a kiddie pool and I have A 3 year old so she loved it
• Asked for no blanket on my bed because I am highly allergic and they put it on anyway

“I liked it okay however the air conditioner was very hard to adjust. The room was either hot or cold no in between.”

• The hotel offered free Wi-Fi service.
• Some of the towels didn't seem as clean as they should be.

“Overall my stay at this hotel was enjoyable. There were a few items that disappointed me, however as a 2.5 star hotel it was above average.”

• The customer service I received at the hotel was excellent. I was asked if I had a pleasant trip and if I was ok with my hotel accomadations.
• In the bathroom there was a washcloth with someone else's hair on it.

“For the price I paid I was satisfied. It was convenient to where I needed to be and the customer service was excellent. I also received great customer service by phone from front desk employee "Cindy" who assured me the hotel was safe. That was my major concern being a single female traveling alone and not arriving until 1 o'clock in the morning.”

• Clean, new, close to airport, good price
• Exercise equipment in poor repair. Air conditioning noisy.

“Nice layout, 2 pools and 2 exercise areas, very appealing bar/entertainment setup. Nice restaurant and store that had long open hours and appropriate offerings. Clean and new, friendly staff.”

• Great pools, indoor/outdoor heated, plus outdoor & kiddie pool unheated, clean hotel, friendly staff

“We've stayed at this hotel before, and had a good experience. The rooms in the tower are newer/nicer. The lobby is neat, very tropical and there are many great swimming pools, two heated and two not.However, this past stay there was a cheerleading convention at the hotel, so we got put in the back area of the hotel, in a smoking room. Yuck. ”

• Close to the Airport,but so are 15 other hotels
• No parking.Very unsafe parking situation.

“Hotel needs rennovation. Rooms and carpet dirty. Sheets put on bed inside out. Groute in shower and bath area full of mold and ground in dirt. The parking lot was taken up with Rental cars, no place for paying customers to park. ”
