• It's easy to find out where it is.
• Looks like a cheap motel.

“The room I booked from Priceline.com only had one queen bed. I had to upgrade to a suite with extra $$. The stuff was OK to help me with the upgrade. But you feel got robbed by paying extra.”

• The helpful staff, the Bath & Body Works, toiletries, the cleanliness, and under cover parking. Convenience of loading & unloading vehicle.
• The cleaning service makes too much noise at 8:00 am.

“The breakfast was very nice and started the day in a good way. The rooms were like new and the location was easy to get to and from.”

• Tiny room, noisy.

“Had the worst room in the hotel - right across from the elevator. Only one bed and the front desk told us it was against fire code to bring in a roll-away. The experience was much like being in a college dormitory. Loud guests at all hours of the night, thin walls, fire alarms going off with little response from staff or authorities.”

• The free breakfast.
• The loud cart noises in the early morning.

“The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. The problem we had was with the loud service carts in the very early morning hours (6am)that woke us up.”

• The pool and whirpool area were just nice.
• Only thing on the down side would be that the pool is right near the road noise, but the fence made a visual separation.

“I loved staying at this hotel - modest yet had personality. The style of walking through from the elevators thru the garage to the lobby and pool areas was like a breezeway. I thought it added to the charm, not inconvenient. Cleaning staff was very nice.”

• The pool area was OK.
• The room was too small, bath drained too slow.

“The room felt really old and small. The bed was not comfortable at all. It was more of a hotel for young people.
I will never stay there again.”

• The maid was very nice.
• Front desk personnel were horrible. Lack of parking.

“Hotel itself was very clean and what I expected for a 1 star Hotel. The front desk staff treated us like we were completely annoying them by checking in. Then we returned to our room to find out that there wasn't any parking spaces. The front desk staff informed us that we were not the only ones with this problem and in his words "Hey what can I do."”

• The amount of space in our suite.
• Finishing touches, trim work, patches, bathroom fan. Traffic & traffic noise.

“Not knowing what the going rate for hotels was in Key West, we booked this hotel. We were disappointed that it wasn't on the beach, but rather just looking at the gulf. Couldn't even use the beach because there wasn't any. IF you could cross the street with your life. We probably wouldn't stay here again.”

• Oversize rooms. Great set up for an extended stay.
• Viding machines were empty. Did not return money.

“Overall the stay was enjoyable. Maintenance and housekeeping staff friendly and helpful. Front desk staff. Had to wake counter person up to get help. I would stay here again. It was close to town and very comfortable.”

• It was a good place to stay (safe, clean) on such short notice.
• The room was a lot smaller that the hotel let's on.

• Hotel room/bath very clean for its class.
• Very noisy at night, i.e. Slamming doors and screaming.

“Room appearance/cleanliness good. Bed was uncomfortable. Lobby coffee bad tasting. Breakfast selections poor. Our one night stay interrupted with noise at night, but believes this was isolated to my area of the lodge.”

• The mess at the breakfast area. Too small.

“Excellent rooms. Very clean. Appropriate for key west, very well located. Easy to access. Friendly staff. Easy to park. Was just great for us. Room, just fantastic.”

• The swimming pool was a nice size and relaxing.
• We did not have transportation to down town and the cabs were expensive. To far out for walking. nobody at hotel could tell us about bus or getting around.

“Hotel was very nice with nice pool but a little away from downtown if you have no transportation.”

• Sidewalk on opposite side of road, sometimes difficult to cross.

• Room was clean, staff was friendly.
• Bad mattress, old furniture, only 1 elevator available.

“Clean room, friendly staff, but overpriced for a budget hotel (as everything else in Key West). The furniture and the mattress were really old and the only elevator for guests and staff took forever. Is only a short ride from downtown.”
