• It was very affordable!
• The light over the sink was very dim and needed to be changed.

“It was very affordable and convenient to the Cleveland Browns Stadium, I just wish the light would have been changed before our stay.”

• Was extremely helpful in trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
• The morning clerk did not even try and do her job, would not refill breakfast bar, poor service.

“I traveled to Ohio from Indiana to attend an important meeting with my attorney, I was tired and just needed some dinner and rest. The hotel manager gave me a room that had broken towel rack, the metal bars were laying on the back of the toilet (I took pictures of room) the bathroom was not cleaned and was given 1 roll of toilet paper that was half used. There was not enough towels, no iron, trash in the cans and spiders crawling on the bed. I had to take Clorox wipes and scrub down the room before I could even set my stuff in there. There was dirt up and down the curtains filthy! The door locks looked like they had been pried loose and not even in working order. I talked to the clerk and he was as helpful as he could be but I was not offered another room during my stay. In the morning I attended the breakfast bar to which there was no coffee made and the desk clerk informed when asked that they were out of cream cheese for the bagels. It was pitiful! I would never stay at this hotel or another Howard Johnson in the future.”

• Friendly staff, decent breakfast.
• Bad smoke smell in non-smoking room! Scary!

“When we first pulled up, there was a woman from housekeeping taking a smoke break right outside the room she was cleaning. It was no wonder that our non-smoking room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The door had been pried open at one time and no one had bothered to get the door fixed. There was a lot of bad and very little good. The front desk clerk working the morning shift was a glimpse of sunlight for the place. She was very nice and was well dressed. She looked and acted like she took pride in her job. Overall, I would not recommend this facility to anyone that I know. I think with some personnel changes and some repairs, you would have a place that I could recommend to people I know going through Brook Park.”

• Quiet, clean.
• I work nights and sleep days-the maid service was disruptive 3.

“Cheap cooperative, clean, pleasant- poor quality of breakfast bar-just carbs-poor maid service and poor communications between the maids and the front desk.”

• It had running water.
• Overall property very unkept.

“All aspects of this hotel are not very well maintained. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Wallpaper coming off the walls, stained bathtub, etc.”

• They had Belgian waffles made fresh for breakfast.
• I need more then 20 words, Everything else I didn't like.

“We had a bad stay for our honeymoon. We were put into a room first where the TV didn't work and the door didn't lock (the hotel knew all this but they still put people in this room with other rooms available). The next room that we go put into the bed was a 2 box springs and a 3" mattress pad (not a mattress just the pad). Later on the 2nd night I went to the front desk for 2 pillows and an alarm clock and I was told that they didn't have any alarm clocks. Then he gave me another room key to get my extra pillows (yes I would be going into another room not the hotel employee) First they tried to give us our room key for extra pillow (they didn't know we were moved there that morning). Then he gave us the room key for the room next too us and when that didn't work he gave me yet another key for another room on the other side of the hotel.”

• Room was clean, courteous staff.
• Security door for the third floor was broken and steps were covered in ice and snow had to use elevators.

“The hotel was very clean and was great for the price. The outside steps were covered with ice and snow (but they had a snow storm just a few days before) The security door for the third floor was broken. But on a whole it was a great experience and would recommend the hotel to others.”

• Clean, friendly, quiet.
• Room had outdoor access ground floor so not as safe.

“Clean, friendly, quiet. Room in good repair. Air conditioner blew air on me all night and choice was to turn off and stifle or to freeze. Did not like that the only access was to the outside. We were put at the very far end on the corner - since we are both female I felt safety could have been an issue.”

• Easy to find, price was affordable.
• Ice machine broke, hard bed, heater broke.

“Even though the price was affordable for the area, we paid too much for having to go from the third floor to the first floor for ice which meant a trip outside. The beds were very hard, the heater/ ac unit was broke and kept the room too warm. TV only had approx 11 channels. The motel wasn't very clean and smelled. When checking in the staff didn't seem to want to help but after their shift changed one gentlemen on staff did try to help me.”

• The location of the hotel was great!
• The security door entering my room hallway was broker anyone could come in.

“The hotel overall was ok. I did not like the elevator being outside to get to my hotel room. The door entering my hallway was broken. Being this is listed as a hotel not a motel the elevator should not have been outside to get to my room. The front desk staff was nice and friendly. For the money this was ok.”
