• The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was good.
• Roaches, roaches and more roaches.

“This hotel was even a little below what I would have expected for the price. I lived in that area for 28 years and this was not a shining example of a cheap place to stay there. The room was totally infested with baby cockroaches. It was seriously disgusting. The high points were the friendly staff, the location and the waffle maker in the lobby for the breakfast. If it were not for the roaches and some minor room repairs it would have been a pretty good value for the money.”

• The location was perfect for what we wanted to do in Ft. Myers.
• The room felt dingy, but clean enough I guess. Mattress lumpy and sheets were thin and worn. Recliner didn't recline. Handle missing on side.

“Although the site mentioned this super 8 as being newly renovated within the last year, the improvements were hard to notice. The room was clean enough for the price I guess, and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. High marks there for sure. The over all feel of the place was utilitarian. The room was just adequate. I'm glad that we had so little to spend in it actually. The public spaces were shabby; the windows in the lobby were dirty. We found the breakfast fare was pitiful. But, we blame ourselves as we went for the price we wanted to pay, and clearly we got what we paid for in spades.”

• I liked everything, nothing negative.

“It was a great place for the price. Very convenient to what we needed. I would go there again on my next trip to Ft. Myers.”

• Very nice and clean let us check in early due to me surgery that was helpful.
• The phone kept ringing with some guy on the other end wanting me to come outside.

“Overall it was nice and clean hotel with a comfortable bed and room. I like the refrigerator and the microwave in there for convenience for me.”

• They had waffles in their breakfast.
• Our two rooms smelled like urine.

“We had two rooms for our family of six. One room smelled of urine. The other room smelled musty and near one of the beds smelled like urine. One of the remote controls did not work. One room had an ironing board but no iron. Their continental breakfast has waffle batter where you can make your own waffles. Yet they ran out of batter twice, once I went and asked them to bring out more batter, the next time we were finished eating waffles so I let someone else worry about getting more batter. The trashcans in the breakfast area where overflowing with trash. You can only make a right-hand turn leaving the parking lot. If you want to go left, you have to first turn right, then quickly cross several lanes of traffic to the left-hand turning lane and make a U-turn. During rush hour this is nearly an impossible feat to perform. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel.”
