• The location.
• Carpet was filthy - walking on them either got your feet or socks black- nasty.

“This hotel was in a good location for us! The price was okay and the staff was friendly enough but they need to do a better job with cleaning. The carpets were nasty and when you walked on them your feet or socks turned black as could be- very nasty and the towels did not smell freshly washed.”

• Bed mattress lumpy and not level; carpet filthy; a/c wheezing/ineffective.

“I will dispute paying for this place-it is really unfair to make a business traveler (or any traveler) pay for this dump and have no recourse to change motels because the money has been paid.”

• The room was dirty, the bed broke when I layed on it, there were bugs in the room and the parking lot had large potholes which could damage my car.

The shower tiles were broken and missing, the linens were not fresh and clean and the facility used to be a motel which has a fresh set of paint, but no improvements in the bathing facilities. The parking was plentiful, but not secure. Would never stay there again. I am asking for a refund.”

• The staff is probably the most honest in the world. I left $2000 in the room safe and they saved it for me.
• It is old and needs a little TLC.

“The hotel is convenient to Downtown and shopping at the Edison Mall which is a very nice mall. The breakfast is very good. There is a nice sports bar restaurant next door - Steve Tomato's Sports Page. Great specials and pizza.”

• The rooms need to be completely remodeled.

“The only complaint I have is that the rooms were old and needed to be remodeled. I realize I was traveling in high season in a popular area and the price was great (by high season standards). As a business traveler I can normally stay at a much nicer place for less money. The good location and prime season made it difficult to stay at a nicer place for a budget price.”

• Wall AC units in poor condition/room hot & humid.

“Don't stay if you need a cool/dry room. We changed units twice. The first unit had condensate from the AC soaking the floor. The second unit smelled of smoke and the last unit had an AC unit that didn't allow the condensate to drain. Room stayed damp. I believe the problem is known to management. Check-in was smooth, workers tried to help and breakfast was good. Hotel was below 1 star in quality.”

• Dumpy, dirty, smelly, uncomfortable and gave us the wrong room.

“This hotel was awful the lady at the front desk barely spoke English. We where given the wrong room. The room was dirty and uncomfortable. It smelled like trash. The hall ways and elevator was nasty.”

• Was a good location from the airport and to Sanibel?
• It was run down and the room smelled.

“It was of ok for the price. It was a bit run down and the room smelled. We called for directions from the road and they were helpful at giving us directions and were friendly. It was ok for what we needed.”

• It was clean.
• The Wi-Fi was super slow, very bad wireless internet connection.

“This hotel was all we needed, it was clean, and the staff was friendly. It wasn't anything fancy, but we were on vacation and planned to be out during the day and it was just right for a traveler who just needs a clean room to rest at night.”

• Convenient location, decent pool.
• Really run down exterior.

“This Days Inn made a point of posting a sign bragging about renovated rooms. During our two stays on non-consecutive nights, the rooms did seem to have had some renovation work, but one still had crumbling drywall in the bathroom. Also, the mattresses and pillows were not very comfortable. The major drawback to this place is that the outside looks really dirty and rundown. On the plus side, WIFI worked okay in the rooms and the pool was nice. ”

• Nothing at all I actually have pictures of how bad the room was and the cockroach in my room if you would like.
• Everything was awful worst experience ever not worth the money I spent.

“I wanted to complain about the condition of my room but when I saw a 70¿s year old man getting yelled at I decided to contact you first. The room was dirty and dingy and there was a hair on the toilet and all over the bathroom. I went out and bought cleaning goods to clean my room before I would use it. The bathroom door would not even shut. I felt for my safety by even leaving my room the hotel is filled with transient workers. ”

• The hotel staff was very kind and helpful.
• They say hotel has been remodeled. It still looks very "runned down" to me. Rooms located way in back. Did not feel safe there.

“I also stayed at Comfort Inn in Naples for a few nights for about the same price. The quality there was far superior and I felt much safer there. Being a female and alone I did not feel very safe at Days Inn. There were a lot of teenage kids hanging around at night and the stairways and elevators are very dark and not safe to walk thru. The hotel lobby is way too far from the hotel. No security in place. The staff was very kind, though, and I appreciate that.”
