• Continental breakfast, location.
• Conditions of the rooms very run down.

“The hotel was in a nice area, the service was good and friendly. The actual rooms were in disrepair and they had an odor. The air conditioning was cold.”

• New carpet & fresh paint in rooms.
• Bath needs serious updating. Mildew on edge of tubs.

• Bugs on the counter. Only one bed in room.

“This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I could hear people in the room above like they were in my room. It stunk like smoke and mildew but they would not move me.”

• Location overlooking the Caloosahache River.
• Continental breakfast was very inadequate for the number of guests.

“This hotel provides excellent hospitality at a reasonable price except for the continental breakfast. It is handy to Fort Myers and major routes.”

• Free Continental Breakfast.
• No heated pool or Hot Tub.

“I was expecting a little better service. There were no blankets or extra pillows, for the pullout couch. The rooms were dirty, and it seemed like the construction workers left there equipment all over. It made you feel like you were intruding and not really supposed to be there.”

“This place is a dump. However, if you enjoy having gang bangers and hookers congregate outside your door loudly conducting business until 5 a.m. and you enjoy a completely unresponsive front desk and hotel manager, then this dump is for you.”

• The room service I left my charger in the room and went back for it and the maid had threw it away.

• The pool and the locale.
• The coffee was terrible.

“The room was advertised as having in-room wifi access and it did not. The coffee filters were the wrong type for the brewer in the lobby - result was coffee filled with grounds, very yucky gobs and gobs of coffee grounds. The first day I chocked it up to a bad day. The second day I thought somebody really needs to fix this. The third day and same result -copies amounts of coffee grounds in the coffee - icky yuk. The tension in the room was awful as customers complained about the coffee grounds and the hotel staff didn't seem to be able to fix it. On the fourth day the girl who made the coffee burned her hand and I ended up going to the supermarket and buying some coffee filters. The coffee filters and the lack of wifi were disappointing. I asked the desk clerk if they could arrange a service appointment to fix the wifi and was told the network guru was overseas and could not be reached. Very disappointing. The room cleaning staff and desk employees were very good and exceeded my expectations but the coffee incident and lack of wifi was a downer. No one seemed to care very much about fixing any of this at the time so it's a little late to be asking about the experience at this point.”

“This is the kind of hotel that I enter once and do not leave my room until daylight. The room smelled of thick room freshener, and the bathroom was mildew and stained with dirt. Overall met my expectation as a cheep motel which is I assume all I can expect for the money spent.”

• Nothing, it was disgusting and nasty. The first thing I saw was a roach and it got worse from there.
• Everything.

“This hotel was shameful. Roaches were the first thing I saw walking into the room. Then dirty towels that were assorted shades of gray rather than white and so old there was practically no towel left to them. The bathtub and shower stall was horrific with mold in every crack and crevice and I can't even describe the bottom of the tub. Most of the lights didn't work in the room. There were holes in the sheets. The dead bolt on the door didn't lock and there was only some poorly installed chain on the door. They attempted to repaint the room, but there was paint spray all over everything from all the mirrors to all the furniture. All the painting was for not anyway because the clientele that stays there have already ruined the paint on the walls with scuff marks and splatters of God only knows what.”

• The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.
• The appearance of the exterior (facing Cleveland).

“My family and I enjoyed our stay. The rooms were neat and clean. The staff was very nice. The pool was clean and had a terrific view of the river. It is in a very good location and the price was right.”

• Wireless internet access in the room.
• Way too expensive for this type of room, but supply and demand ruled.

“This room was sufficient for any of my stays in the fort Myers area, although I would certainly not expect to pay as much as we did for this type of hotel. A nice place to stay, but not worth to me, and this was the cheapest available in the area. I probably won't be returning due to the price, not due to the quality of the hotel.”

• Very dirty room with a foul odor.

“Must miss! There was a foul odor to the room even though it was designated non-smoking, the coffee maker had paint spray presumably from the last time that they had painted; the room was quite dirty and unkempt. Need I say more? I cannot recommend this hotel.”
