• The noise next door at the 24 hour automatic car wash.
• The stain on the wall next to the toilet paper holder.

“I hated my stay at this motel because the room was so nasty. I am a smoker and I know it is hard to keep the rooms fresh between occupants. But I have never ever seen anything so nasty and smelly. I sat on the recliner before going to sleep only to find out my shirt was stained with pure nicotine on my back. The stains on the walls and on the furniture were noticeable. Burn marks from careless smokers were present and the bathroom was in need of new fixtures. It was apparent to me that no money for repair, upkeep, furniture replacement, deep cleaning, or paint had been invested in maybe 10 years. The bed was sunken and very lumpy. The bedspread wasn't clean and I was afraid to even look at the pillow beneath the pillow cover. I kept the window open at all times in fear of going away with some disease or respiratory ailment. I asked a staff member if another room was better but was told all smoking rooms were the same. I will say that the staff accommodated me when I requested a clean sheet to cover the grotesque recliner. I will never never come close to another Motel 8. If I weren't in a state of grieving over the death of a close family member, I would have run away as soon as I opened the door. Please run away before it changes your life also.”

• Liked nothing about the place.
• The worst motel experience I have ever encountered.

“My best friend and I took a trip to fl to see my brother, we both brought our kids, after reserving 2 rooms side by side, when we checked in the front desk claimed that the hotel was full and roomed our kids on the other side of the second level. Not impressed! Than, out of no where of turning on a/c white, thick, Nasty smoke filled the room leaving us coughing, as we dropped to the floor. Than silver thick liquid started dripping from the roof, soaking us, as I go to the b/r to wash up, I notice 4mm holes in the mirror. They were video taping us.”

• Absolutely nothing
• The rooms had terrible odors and the elevator was broke.

“This hotel totally disappointed me and we never stayed due to the odors in the rooms and the fact that the elevator was broke. I am handicapped and cannot clime steps.”
