• A great location with a conveniently located mall and restaurants.
• The outside door lock near my room only worked sometimes, but most of the time it didn't.

“This was a very nice hotel and it was extremely conveniently located being very near the airport and also the mall and good restaurants. It would have been nice if this hotel had an indoor pool because as a business traveler, I always like to go into a pool to relax after a day's work.”

• Food mashed in carpets, dirty floors (not sweep or mopped!)

“This is by far the worst room I have ever stayed in! The room appeared to not have been cleaned! You could see dirty foot prints in the tile. On the kitchenette floor, there was food on the floor. The carpet had food mashed in it. The smell of the smoke in the room was unbearable! I became ill with a sinus problem after being in this room.”

• Good price. Kitchen nice for quick dinner and breakfast.
• Dishes in some rooms aren't totally cleaned.

“Very convenient location. Desk clerk very helpful. Clean rooms. Very good value for the price. A nice place to stay on the road. No bells and whistles (no pool, breakfast, etc.) but certainly a good value for price.”

• They charged an additional 15.00 to "upgrade" to a double bed room.

“The experience with the Homestead Suites was immediately spoiled because of having to pay an additional 15.00 upon check-in, to upgrade to 2 double-beds.”

• I love the little kitchen.
• Maybe a toaster oven too would have been nice. Oh and an in room hairdryer especially in the winter.

• Everything smelled like smoke, carpets were dirty.

“This hotel was very dirty - all public areas smelled like smoke, the carpets were very dirty, the room did not look clean, and the person who checked us in had no knowledge about the hotel or the area (e.g. couldn't tell us how much a taxi from the airport should approximately cost).”

• Having kitchen facilities is nice.
• The bed was uncomfortable.

“They need to get a better bed, the refrigerator was not cleaned enough and the carpeting was not vacuumed along walls. A positive at this hotel was the front desk staff, which was efficient.”

• It was very conveniently located.
• I thought the front desk could have been friendlier.

“Although they agreed to an hour later checkout, someone was still banging on the door. Then someone was calling the room. All this occurred after they agreed to a later checkout. I ended up paying the hotel $30 additional dollars to stay another 45 minutes (a dark haired young woman). The young man at the front desk was excellent. The two younger females were not very friendly.”

• The bellys daily passes.
• Nothing. Great place.

“I have stayed at this hotel many times and as always the blonde guy who checked me in talked about the recent fights with me and greeted me with recognition. Grace was a help, and the housekeepers were amazing. I had no problem getting clean towels and linens and was able to get a work out pass to the bellies every day so I didn't mess up my routine. I like that I can leave cash and jewelry in my room and no one would bother it, and they always remember to put me in non smoking.”

• I liked the friendly staff.
• I can't say anything bad.

“I have stayed at this hotel many times and always find it fantastic, this time was no exception, when I checked in a young guy with black hair checked me in fast and friendly and even remembered me from the last trip. I was booked in to a smoking room, and I'm allergic to smoke, I called down and the dude did everything in his power and got me moved to a clean smoke free room. The front desk staff is always awesome but this time I would like to also mention the housekeeping. There was a young African American female medium build on the first floor who was a huge help to me.”

• It had a fully equipped kitchen.
• It was designed for long term stays & had only minimal bath supplies.

“It is an extended stay hotel in a complex of hotels near the Cleveland airport. Apparently it was short on such reservations & accepted overnight stays at a good price.”
