• Continental breakfast was excellent, friendly, helpful staff.
• I enjoyed my stay.

“I enjoyed my stay in Lakeland at La Quinta. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and adequate for a comfortable stay. The continental breakfast was excellent. I swam in the pool and enjoyed lounging pool side. I would recommend this to all my friends. Be sure to ask for a non smoking room.”

• Many trees in the parking lot.
• No computer/business room.

“The staff was wonderful. The hotel can be seen from Interstate 4, but is a little inconveniently located.”

• The location was right, the people were pleasant.
• The elevator was broken for three straight days and my husband is disabled and we were on the 2nd floor that made it difficult.

“It seemed a bit dark and small - however, whenever I looked around and thought about it, it was really very nice. I think it's an older La Quinta that has been replaced with a newer one at the next exit.”

• The breakfast was good.
• The stench of the smoking room which made us sick.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The breakfast room staff seemed more concerned with getting the food put away than serving the guests.”

• The rooms were clean and looked new or remodeled, nice pillows, good shower, wall thermostat.
• Kind of off the beaten path.

“I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. Although it's off the beaten path a little, great, friendly staff and clean rooms, strong shower and hotel overall appearance looks as if it has been recently renovated or had just been built. Very, nice hotel.”

• Roomy space in the room, nice linens, comfortable bed.
• Service at continental breakfast poor, ran out of food.

“The hotel is a little hard to find, it is on a parallel street with the Interstate, and street signs were hard to find. But once we were in the hotel it was a great stay. Clean room, comfortable furnishings, friendly and helpful staff. We asked to be moved into a king room and they were able to move us after the first night's stay. They did run out of breakfast food every morning.”

• The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, quiet. Staff was helpful and friendly.
• Ice machines not available on 1st floor and did not work on 2nd floor. Had to go to smoking floor for ice! Yuck!

• Front desk tried to help.
• Front desk girl all alone in hotel.

“First room smelled of cigarette smoke. Next room had no remote for TV. Made 3 trips to desk TV Broken unable to replace as she was alone. A wallet left in room. Our mistake but called next day never turned In. This was a very bad experience.”

• Limited washer and dryer access and crowded breakfast area.

“Too near a loud major highway. Not clean enough in the lobby and breakfast areas. For our weeklong stay it was fine as we really only slept and showered there.”

“took until 3rd day of stay to get remote for TV. Also 3rd day to get none stop running toilet serviced. Almost never an ash tray in smoking rooms. It took 4 tries to get double billing fixed.”

• The staff was great, very friendly.
• Room elevator smelled like bug spray.

“Rooms were very clean. I was allowed to check in early and pick up my key later. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The elevator and the room smelled like bug spray. It could have been a cleaning product but the room was very strong.”

• Location close to where we were visiting family.
• Very dirty, sheets full of pubic hairs.

“First they gave us a room that was being used by someone else, then the second room the keys didn't work and we had to get hem redone a third. When we finally got in, dirty floors, no towels and bed sheets were full of body hair. Don't recommend it to anyone!”
