“This is a friendly, clean, centrally located hotel which seems to be upgrading and updating as they go.”

“Great place to stay. Room is nice, staff is friendly. However, nothing is exceptional and no one went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Just a nice place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone going on a trip, just not a very special trip where they're looking for above average.”

“It was like walking into an Art Deco hotel in Miami Beach. Restaurant wasn't open. Computer was down waited 20 min to check in. Felt like twilight zone of the 60s.”

“The Imperial Swan is a refurbished, seven-floor, seventies era Sheraton hotel. The staff is efficient, responsive and attentive. The room was large and had two queen size beds, cable-TV and a mini-fridge. The mattresses were a bit soft and probably need to be replaced. High speed wireless is available, but the few routers were easily overwhelmed by a full house resulting in slow, spotty, often-dropped connections over the week-end. The hotel offers a "business center" which maintained a quick connection throughout the week-end, but only on one computer. The pool is large and inviting. The fitness center has only a basic set of machines and a few dumb-bells. The ice dispenser on the 3rd floor was broken with an aged sign indicating that guests should use the one on the 2nd floor.”

“This hotel needs to address some serious mold/mildew issues. There are simple, inexpensive things they could do to improve the overall appearance, like replacing the disgusting looking toilet seat and the torn blanket on the bed, but they seriously need to hire a qualified interior decorator. Nothing in the room matched. Nothing. People will look past short comings if they have an overall good impression. I was not impressed. The best thing about this hotel was the parking garage.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Amenities at Imperial Swan Hotel and Suites, Lakeland
