• Pleasant staff.
• Room heater never warmed the room. Had to wear coat all the time.

• Kitchen.
• Entire lobby in shambles. Workout facilities inoperable.

“I understand the hotel was recovering from an accident, a faint sewage odor, and stale cigarette odor in the room.”

• Clean, close to toll road, comfortable room.
• Unfortunately, flooding did damage to the 1st floor--nothing can be done about that--so, working on repairs.

“Clean, comfortable, nice kitchen, close to me 90 and great for business and/or leisure travelers. I recommend this hotel for someone who is not looking for frills.”

“The stay was awful. The hotel had been flooded out the previous week. The lobby and all first floor rooms were being repaired (drywall removed approx. One foot up from the floor -- carpets removed). The room, especially the bathroom was dirty -- the floor was scuffed, dirty, and had cuts in the tile. The bathtub had hair in it. The water in the bathtub went down slowly (ankle deep after a shower). The elevator was not available for one day of our stay -- a significant hurdle for the 80-year old traveling with us. We understand that things out of the control of the hotel can happen, but it should have been communicated to us, and there is no excuse for a flood on the fist floor to preclude dirty rooms on the second floor.”

• No in-room toiletries - have to ask at front desk. How odd.

• Cheap quality of furniture

“It did not rate very high in our opinion. The furniture was poor, the bedding and towels were cheap. We were given a suite instead of just two beds and were then charged extra. The clerk tried to be helpful, but we were not impressed with the hotel and would never choose it again.”

• Full amenities - perfect for long stay.
• Residue smoke smell in hallway from adjacent smoking rooms.

“Very impressed by this hotel. Internet is charged at $4.99 for the length of the stay, which is reasonable. I can't think of anything negative - friendly staff, room had a fully-outfitted kitchen area, as well as a view of lush woods outside my hotel window.”

• The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was convenient. The front desk clerk was professional and helpful. Great customer service.
• The lighting was terrible, both in the room and the bathroom.

“A great place to stay. Its comfortable and having the kitchen was a great bonus. We will stay there again. Great customer service from the front desk staff.”

• Very convenient to have a kitchen to use, as well as spacious living area.
• Nothing that I can think of.

• Very convenient location, and excellent amenities.

“Although it was secluded, I absolutely loved the location. It was amongst a few fine restaurants, and located near an expressway. I was pleasantly surprised with the accessibility of all amenities (fully equipped kitchen, stove, work station, Internet access, dual telephone lines, great lighting, spacious bathrooms, blow dryers, and king size beds). It was neat, clean and very private. I vow to only stay at these type of hotels for the remainder of my travel. I was very pleased!”

• Good location and quiet.
• Initially toilet did not work, sink stopper did not seal, musty odor.

“Poor condition of room. Lack of maintenance staff. There weren't amenities such as shampoo, could be a housekeeping issue. Room had musty odor. Positive points are that the hotel had a good location, very professional and friendly front desk clerk.”

• Great location near Crocker Park and many restaurants.
• The staff was at times less than intelligent and double charged my visa after I had already paid.

• I loved the alarm clock with mp3 feed. the staff helped me also!
• It was perfect this time.

“They tried sticking me in the same room as last time and when I told her about my problems with noise she moved me to a room on the second floor on the end! Super quiet! She wasn't sure how to do the upgrade but told me to just go get some sleep! The next morning the guy fixed all the paper work with no hassle to me! Excellent customer service!”

• Poor execution: dirty, electronics didn't work, cheap.

“This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in a long time. It took 3 rooms to get one that was clean. They did upgrade me, at least. The electronics were cheap and didn't work properly. The agents at the front desk told me differing stories about how often the room was cleaned.”
