“Overall, not a bad hotel. The restaurant's menu is very expensive for the quality of the food. The room was a nice size and the staff was helpful and accommodating.”

“Large convenient hotel and close to mall and freeway. All facilities inside room and outside were fine. Large outdoor pool looked good for summer.”

“This is a generic hotel next to a striptest joint. That says it all.”

“This was a typical 70's, 80's era Holiday Inn. I was not impressed that you could enter through a rear door without using the card access. The room showed signs of wear but all in all was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. We had no problems at all.”

“The first room smelled so bad they moved us to another room. AC was too noisy to leave on at night. No breakfast included.”

“Great location and easy to get to all the stores we needed for my daughter's college dorm, but the hotel was older and rundown. The staff was great and very helpful. The rooms were clean, but old and offered limited channels on the TV. The restaurant looked ok but we decided to eat out. We'll stay in Avon next time. More stores and nice restaurants and only a few miles further from our college destination.”

“The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, directions to the nearby college, where many of the guests were heading with their first year students, were available. The room was spacious and the clean, though there were signs of age with some plaster damage on the walls. The windows do not open and the air conditioning unit was extremely loud. It would have been preferable to me to open a window for ventilation. The beds and especially the pillows were very comfortable. Decent quality linens for a 2.5 star hotel.”

“We pass through Ohio and stay here overnight. Free internet is very convenient. It has free parking too. However, breakfast is not included. There is no coffee in the hall way downstairs. You have to make it in the room.”

“Hotel public areas not clean. Hotel difficult to access and find from major highway. Food quality of breakfast buffet (that we had to pay for) was horrible as food was cold, dry, and limited with some food not being replenished. Selections extremely limited. When coffee served to table it was cold.”

“Easy to get to location. It is an older hotel that has been kept clean and some updates done. We had adjoining rooms and one had an updated air-conditioning system that worked perfect but the other room had an old broken down unit so it was very hot in the room all night. The staff did offer to move us but we did not want to be separated from our kids who had already settled in on their side. The food quality of their breakfast buffet was not that good for the price. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would stay again (as long as I got a room with the new A/C system).”

“I worked there over 20 years ago and the restaurant was much better then. This is an economically depressed area and one can tell by the lacking quality of its service/hospitality industry. However, this is probably the best hotel you will find in this area since the closing of the Spitzer in Downtown Lorain. Skip the breakfast buffet and go to Bob Evans! You've been warned.”

“Overall, this hotel is very comfortable, including the bed. The restaurant is not gourmet but is good, especially for breakfast, which is all I tried. The entrance to the hotel from the road is extremely confusing.”
