• It has a good pool; it's close to shopping.
• The rooms and all in it were nasty. It's very run down. Not very friendly.

“My family and I come to Greenwood every Labor Day weekend. for a family reunion. We've been doing this for 30 some yrs. We use to stay her several years ago until the rooms became so nasty we couldn't stay any longer. There are usually about 35 of us each year staying at a motel. We have a lot of kids. We thought last year. we'd come by and see if the rooms we're any better. They appeared to be. We thought they we're remodeling some. We loved the pool and yard because the kids had room to play and the adults could sit and relax and talk by the pool and we all could have a good time. The rooms have not been remodeled. One of my family members had bugs crawling in their bed and had to leave and find another hotel. The man (who was the owner's son) wouldn't give them another room or their money back. That's bad business. The comforters had blood stains and other things on them. I couldn't even get fresh towels, even if I took my dirty ones to them. Housekeeping wouldn't take out the trash, clean the bath, leave coffee. It was pitiful. But, like my mom said, "You get what you pay for." There is trash all over the yard, beer cans, cigarette butts, old soap bars, bags, etc. never picked up. Our family loved staying here many years ago. The hotel could be a great place. But, you can't make money if you don't put money into it! I do not recommend staying here. Angela, from Baskerville NC.”
