• Room was more spacious than price would indicate.

“This was a standard motel setup. Room was clean and large enough to accommodate our large travel crib without hassle. Bathroom was divided between sink and mirror area and shower/toilet making it easy for two people to get ready. Shower room was quite small and became stuffy quickly due to a small bath fan. Otherwise perfectly satisfactory for the price.”

• Access roads a little run down.

“For the business or leisure traveller looking for a great value plus a convenient location, the La Quinta Inn on Woodruff Road is hard to beat. The property is clean and well-maintained, features a pleasant staff and best of all, easy access to I-385 leading into the heart of Greenville's business and entertainment district. Add travel time of only about five minutes to the Greenville-Spartanburg Jetport or the area's largest shopping mall, and you'll have a real winner.”

• Trash trucks rumbling through at 2:00 a.m.

“Lobby was run down, with broken waffle maker and general air of disrepair. Room AC worked well, room was clean, TV picture quality was good. Bed was very, soft.”

• Very clean rooms, helpful staff, clean pool, close to major highways.
• Bathroom tiles could have been cleaner.

“This was my second stay at this hotel. I stayed at the hotel for two nights in June. I was making a return trip to the area in August and knew that I wanted to stay at this La Quinta again. I found the rooms clean and spacious. The breakfast was nice.”

• Friendly staff.
• Back's up against a shopping center.

“Back's up against a shopping center - garbage trucks very loud with doomsters from shopping center in view at 4 am.”

• Close to the mall and had with friendly helpful staff.
• Did not have a workout room.

“The hotel was conveniently located right off the interstate and next to a mall. Lots of eating options, and there is a Theater in the mall if you want to catch a movie (which I did). Room was clean, and had free wireless internet. Waffle breakfast was good. The only disappointment for me was there wasn't any gym or exercise facility. There was a pool, but I didn't feel like swimming. Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality for the price!”

• Clean, had good free breakfast which was a surprise.
• Surroundings were run-down, rooms on the back face back of an old strip mall, empty buildings on one end.

“Ok for economy just to sleep as we used it, but surroundings not pleasant to look at.”

• It is in a good location, and the price is not bad.
• Well it didn't have a sofa bed in the king size room and a refrigerator, or a microwave.

“I enjoyed staying here, I only wish that the room came with a refrigerator, so that you can keep your drinks cold or if you want to keep your ice cream cold. I wanted to bring some ice cream back to the room but couldn't because had no place to keep it cold. This is not my first time staying there, that is why I recommended to my friend to stay there.”

• Fast, hassle free check-in.

“The staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean and neat. The rooms were comfortable. They do need more convenient snack machines, instead of just the one in the lobby. Also, the coke machines need to be more convenient and the ones they do have need to be stocked. Other than that, overall, I was very pleased.”

• The location was very convenient.
• It is more run-down looking than most other motels in the same category.

“Great location, but kinda dumpy looking. While I know the area and can testify to it's safety, the motel looked unsafe, with poor lighting in the parking lot and older, drab exterior and rooms. I would've preferred to stay at another location, and was disappointed in the experience.”

• The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Very close to shops and restaurants.
• The beds were very uncomfortable.

“Overall, the room was very nice, but if a traveler has any sort of back or neck problems, I don't recommend this hotel. My husband and I both suffer from back problems and the mattresses were too firm, the pillows weren't plump, and there was some sort of egg shell shaped thing between the sheets and the mattress that made it very uncomfortable. The location of the hotel is good, though, since it's near shopping centers and very nice restaurants. However, if you blink, you can miss the entrance to the hotel. The staff is very friendly, and the layout is very nice and secure.”

• The front desk staff was friendly and apologetic. A/C worked well.
• It was a second rate Hotel !

“I cannot describe how disappointed in the overall condition of the room. The sheets did not fit the bed, and kept coming off at night. They did not change the bed; even with the card indicating that I wanted clean sheets placed on the pillow. The room was dirty and dingy looking, well worn. The staff was nice, but this is not like any La Quinta I have ever stayed at before.”

• It Si convenient to the highway.
• Upper floor rooms need renovation.

“Usually a good value for overnight stays. Outside rooms on two levels. Lower floor seems to have been renovated recently and kept cleaner then the second floor.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast lacks any fresh fruit but does have a very good assortment of danish, pancakes and cereals.”
