• Great location close to everything we went to Brandon for.
• No pool. Could have been kept a little cleaner in the hallways and around garbage containers.

• Beautiful surroundings.
• Air conditioner in room was set very low - took a long time to cool room.

• The pricing was good.
• There was mold on the walls near the bed and in the bathroom.

“The cleanliness and quality are a bit of an issue. There was mold growing up the wall by the bed which wasn't great. I think that it is just an older property as well. The staff was fine.”

• The friendly service.
• External rooms with too many hidden spaces when entering rooms. It made me concerned for my safety.

“The hotels staff was pleasant. However, I'm very unhappy with the level of comfort and the location. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and small. I'm not sure how the were set up but when I sat on the edge of the bed it did not support me well. I also woke up with back aches and muscle aches. The location was not the best. As I walked to the room I found that there were too many places for someone to hide and attack you if were not careful. Which I found myself on heightened alert as I came to the room at a late hour.”

“The room was cramped. There were no eating utensils in the room when I arrived and after I asked for some to be left the next day there was not and no coffee for the next day either.”

• The staff.
• The carpet in the room looked dirty, the lighting was poor.

“I don't think this should be a 2 star hotel. There is no pool, the lobby closes at night, there is no maid service unless you pay extra. Also, I had asked a room with two beds and they charged me extra because according to them this was considered an upgrade.”

• Not much, one free day of wireless internet was nice.
• The room was not well kept. There were dead bugs on the floor and on the pillow.

“This hotel was not well kept, had dead bugs on the floor and pillows. The front desk staff was friendly, but the front door was locked at 11 pm on the dot. We had to wait for a while to check in. I felt the need to keep my suitcases zipped in this hotel.”

• The location was close to our family's home.
• The bed was hard as a rock - we both had sore backs!

“Our remote control didn't work and the staff brought us batteries instead of making us walk up to the front of the hotel to get them. Very friendly staff!”

• The outside looked decent.
• Terrible room maintenance.

“The room was awful. No shower curtains; dusty and very dirty. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke. Very unhappy. Was a total disappointment.”

• The bathroom was a good size.
• Movies were not working; gave us a 1 bed room for 3 people.

“We were given a room with one queen sized bed though we had 3 people in our party. When we got to the room and saw the one bed, we called the desk and were told If you want a bigger room you can pay for an upgrade." We were too tired to move the first night, but in the morning we went to the desk and requested a room with 2 beds. So, I payed for the upgrade for a 2nd bed for that evening. I was extremely disgusted by the attitudes I received from staff. I have never before been given a single bed in a room when I have traveled with 3 or more people.”

• Only one bed and that is not what was shown in pictures. Kids had to sleep on floor.

“Hotel could not provide a cot or anything other than a blanket and pillow for the floor. I feel sorry for those who did. There were others in the lobby complaining about this very situation.”
