• Excellent service from start to finish!
• Parking lot view, but this was to be expected.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everyone who worked for the hotel was friendly and more than helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The room was spacious and had many amenities I wasn't even expecting. The shower head made me feel as though I were at a spa. I was thrilled to find a coffeemaker in my room. The free breakfast was the best I've seen yet in terms of freshness and cleanliness. My whole experience was far better than I had anticipated it to be!”

• The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable.
• The front entrance could use a bit of spiffing up.

“While not "Downtown" the hotel is in an easy-to-reach location to the northeast of Tampa. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and the room was clean and well-arranged. It's not huge or ostentatious, but provides clean, comfortable lodging.”

• It was close to highway and to the ford amphitheatre.
• Everything was fine, no complaints.

• Bathroom had great setup with toilet and shower in bathroom with the sink outside.
• I am on central time so the 9 am breakfast call was 8 am for me and it was hard to get up for it.

“Great place to stay. Rooms are clean and the staff is so helpful. Anything you need they can get it for you.”

• Roach on wall when we came in for the night.

“Will stay again. Close to Ford Amphitheatre, which is where we go when we come to Tampa? Continental breakfast was sufficient.”

• Exceedingly pet friendly.
• Located in the land of strip malls, industry.

“Better than expected hotel in a not untypical, just-off-the-Interstate area. Very pet friendly. We saw everything from Maltese to a Great Dane. Rooms quiet, even with all the dogs, spring break families. Clean. Solid staff, very friendly and accommodating. (Upgraded at no extra charge to king room, smoking for first night when standard room had not been cleaned - at 11:00 at night, and to king, non-smoking the next day.) Free wireless internet worked well when it did, a little intermittent. Good for business traveler with good desk, many outlets - one on lamp, four others built into desk. Comfortable, pillow-top bed - Five pillows on king. Granite top sink on one side as you enter room, toilet and shower with door on other side. Refrigerator-microwave. Large TV, limited channels - ESPN, CNN. FOX News, locals, Showtime. 15 minutes from Busch Gardens. Cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, yogurt, fruit salad, waffles, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, hot tea at breakfast. Plenty of chain restaurants nearby, including Bob Evans next door. (Try Jessie's about 2 miles east - pleasant local place. Shrimp, steak, drinks for 2 $40). All-in-all much better than we expected. We'd go back.”

• The room only had one bed instead of two and was a smoking room!

• The hotel was located close to the interstate and had many restaurant choices.
• The smoky smell of the room was not appealing.

“The staff was very helpful and the breakfast provided was good. The room was comfortable, but it would have been much better without the smell of old smoke.”

• The room was well prepared, convenient location.
• Dirty carpets, dusty smell, damaged walls in bathroom, ac unit need upgrade and probably new air filter.

“The hotel is conveniently located at the center of Brandon. There is complimentary breakfast. Rooms are well prepared. Hotel also has industrial facilities and factories nearby.”

• It was clean and was kept up well.
• There was not a refrigerator or microwave in the room.

“The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the carpet was clean. I was surprised that after wiping up a small spill on the carpet, the cloth I used did not have a dirty mark on it. To me, this is a good sign that the hotel is clean.”

• Just not as upscale as I had hoped for.

“Very convenient to Tampa and Brandon area shopping and eating establishments. I would not consider this a good hotel for kids. There was a dog in one of the rooms above me as he barked often.”

• Wireless internet and breakfast. Hostess was great.
• I needed a non-smoking; unable to fulfill that.

“Some good remodeling; bathrooms clean; need to clean rooms that have been used as smoking rooms. Nice breakfast. All employees that I came into contact with were great people. Wireless was free and helpful to the business traveler.”

“This hotel recently converted to the la quintal brand. Everything about my stay made me think that the reason for the change is that the previous brand must have revoked its franchise. I cannot recommend this hotel.”

• Breakfast started at 7 a.m. On weekends, should also start at 6 a.m.

• The staff is helpful and extremely friendly.
• It appears old on the outside, needs some curb appeal.

“For the price, I couldn't have asked for more. The staff is wonderful, it's close to many, many restaurants and a large shopping mall right across the street. Access to main roads and i-75 is right there, so unless you're there for a romantic hotel getaway, you can't beat it. The only fault I found was the lacking of TV channels unless you want to pay for movies, etc. ”
