• I really enjoyed the room, I did not expect the comfort that I received. It was above my expectations.
• The carpet needed to be cleaned and vacuumed.

“This was a nice place to just relax and enjoy the area. The suite was above my expectations for this price. The suite was like a studio apartment.”

• The rooms were one bedroom suites with lofts that overlooked the beautiful courtyard pool. The free breakfast was delicious and filling.

“This was so much more than we expected. We left an Orlando timeshare for a night in Tampa and a Devil Rays game for my husband and son. We ended up wishing we were staying in Tampa at the Baymont for Spring Break! The Hard Rock Casino is 3 miles away, the mall is seven, and beaches and downtown a quick 30 minutes. With so much to do and such a nice place with more than reasonable rates we will always ask for Baymont Suites. Thank you Priceline for matching us up!”

• Musty mildew smell.

“Needs renovation badly. Bathrooms are new, but hotel is old, dark and maintenance is poor. Lobby and breakfast area however are first rate, as is the pool area.”

• Hotel room was dirty and mattress was very old.

“Hotel staff was friendly and complimentary breakfast was great. Hotel room and carpet were very dirty and mattress looked like a used bed from salvation Army. Would not stay here again.”

• Very close to the highway - good location.
• The curtains were to heavy - sun couldn't shine in.

• Room was very spacious, however the first night there; we were unable to rest due to the next guest playing loud music, hanging out in the halls.
• Hotel manager & staff did not address my concerns.

“The hotel has a great morning buffet for the guest to enjoy. Unfortunately, they have no control over the noise control, several guest complained about the unruly guest but we received no help. But overall it was a nice hotel.”

• The evening popcorn and pizza, the courtyard pool was very pretty.
• Be sure to ask for non smoking on floor with all non-smoking, because on floors with mixed rooms you can smell smoke.

“The hotel was pleasant as it had a kitchen area with a microwave and refrigerator. Great for warming up restaurant leftovers. The rooms are quiet and the hotel is quaint. Would stay again when in Tampa.”

• The room layout.
• I got stranded by the airlines in D.C. for a day. The hotel would not work with me to adjust paying for the day I was stranded.

“Overall, a decent hotel. If you are looking forward to the hotels complimentary breakfast I suggest you stay elsewhere. The rooms are nice and a little different setup from the norm since they are bungalow styles with a second floor for the bed. The staff is kind of weak and not very friendly. They will also not work with you if there are any issues getting to town on the day planned.”

• My room was switched at arrival. Not an upgrade as stated. Furthest room from beach and noisy.

• The room was clean and quiet. The AC was cold. The non-smoking building did not smell of smoke.
• The plaster on the walls is older and there are a few water spots on the ceiling in the bathroom.

“We were close enough to Busch Gardens, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The area was very quiet and is in a business area. We are pleased with the room and would recommend the hotel again. Both of the TV's in this room (with a fridge and microwave) worked fine.”

• The free breakfast included eggs, sausage, and waffles.
• The rooms really need to be updated. The floral print couches and bedspreads have to go.

“The hotel is located in an office park. The area is very safe and convenient to the interstate. The hotel itself is situated on a small lake. Some rooms offer views of the lake. The hotel is very clean and the grounds are well maintained. The rooms really need to be updated. I felt like I was back in the 80's. The floral print bedspreads and upholstery on the sleeper sofa have to go. The rooms are equipped with a microwave, fridge, and wet bar. The town home suites are bi level which is nice. The bed was ok. The sheets were very thin. I felt like I was sleeping on the bare mattress. The staff at the hotel were all very nice and accommodating.”

• Good quality bath products and everything worked.
• Not the most attractive room, bed comfort was minimal.

“Hotel staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were clean, but showing their age. The bed was not most comfortable bed, but wasn't bad either. Everything in the room worked, and the bath soap and products were very good quality.”

“I can always tell how clean a hotel is according to my allergic reaction. This hotel could have been cleaner and it needs updating. I was informed that the hotel is for sale I don't believe any updates are planned. For goodness sakes they need new mattresses and bed sheets.”

• The staff was very friendly and the pool was very clean.
• The bed was uncomfortable due to a broken box spring and old mattress and the hallways smelled awful.

“The hotel is in a quiet part of town. The facility is clean, the personnel friendly and accommodating. The rooms could use some updating and the furniture is old, but things were neat and clean. The continental breakfast was standard. The food wasn't very fresh, but it was edible. The pool was small but an appropriate size for the hotel and was very clean. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay.”
