  • I thought the beds were comfortable.
  • Bad location in town.

“The staff are friendly, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and room were clean but the hotel is in bad need of a makeover. Moreover, many abandoned buildings are near by and there people hanging around the buildings.”

  • The room looked like it was stuck in the 90's. I like more contemporary styles.

  • Very little.
  • Needs updates, no sauna, unaccommodating, bad area, no Jacuzzi, or indoor pool, unaccommodating.

“Don't go there, The hotel is in need of updating, the setting is in a bad neighborhood, It is out of the way to get too. There are no upscale amenities like a Jacuzzi or sauna's. Our door lock was falling apart, they put us and our adult children on opposite ends of the hotel. Our nonsmoking room requests was not meet. Cleaning service was out knocking on doors by 9 a.m. We stayed at the Hilton for less and had a wonderful time.”

  • Comfortable bed good restaurant & bar.
  • Pool closed both days & ice machine broken down on all floors. Had to get ice from bar.

“We slept good, the restaurant was good, but the pool was closed both days, and we had no ice. It would have been nice to have a hot tub.”

  • The lobby and public areas were clean. The pool looked clean.
  • The location was in a very rough area of town.

“Do not stay at this hotel if you're in Greenville for a leisure stay. It's too far from the Main Street area and isn't in a desirable area of town.”

  • Convenient to downtown, easy to get to.
  • No hot tub, staff could have been friendlier.

“Overall, the hotel was fine. Breakfast was a little expensive. Staff at the front desk were not very friendly. The room was nice. Very comfortable. Housekeeping did knock at 9:30 on Sunday morning. Seems a little early to me.”

  • Pleasant head of house keeping.
  • Managers paid no attention to head of house keeping when told of the quality of her staff.

“All things considering if house keeping is done that way I would never stay again. If a manager does not go and see the room the head of house keeping has nothing to stand on.”

  • Odor is terrible, stained linens, in bad section of town.

  • Clean room, TV station listed, restaurant in hotel, cookies at front desk.
  • Allowed smoking in bar which flowed into restaurant, maids kept knocking on my door, A/C not cold enough, hard to find off main road.

“Room very clean and smelled clean. Easy access to parking lot even though lobby was far. Restaurant had very good food and service, only negative was the spill over of smoke from the bar area. Had fresh bake cookies in lobby for check-in. Only negative was the maids kept knocking on my door in the morning, first time about 8:30 a.m. and two times after that, good thing I had the slide lock on the door or I would have bared all to a stranger.”

  • The entire hotel smelled like smoke, dingy.

“The TV remote was broken, did not receive my wake up call, smelled like smoke. This in my eyes was not a three star hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

  • Very nice, American-owned, well-appointed.
  • Location is awful.

“I was not happy about the location and knew that this was an older Holiday Inn. However, our stay was wonderful. The staff was excellent, the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the price was great.”

  • Absolutely nothing, by the far one of the worst hotel out there.
  • Customer service is awful, old, bad location and the hall way stink.

“This hotel is one of the worst hotel I had ever stayed. Waited nearly one hour to check in as only 2 customers were in front of me. Customer services is absolutely the worst, Wi-Fi does not work which they claimed it does, in room heater/A/C are loud, outside is also very noisy. I would be scare to walk outside during night time without being approached for drugs or being mug. The hallway smell molded and dirty.”

  • It was terrible.
  • Dirty rooms and hallways. It was an old facility with exposed toilet bolts, chipped tub, starched furniture, missing electric outlet covers, etc.

“The hotel was so bad and customer service would only offer to find something else. It was 10:30pm and my family was so tired from driving all day we could not wait and go elsewhere.”

“We were in town for a concert and only stayed one night. All we did was sleep, bathe, and leave. The room was nice but bed was uncomfortable and the shower water was lukewarm.”
