• The courtyard and newly remodeled breakfast area. Very quiet. Looks like they are definitely making improvements!
• Could use better vacuuming. Breakfast a little scanty.

“Nice location. Beautiful courtyard and pool area. Comfy beds. Pull out not as comfy. Breakfast a little small. Nice newly remodeled breakfast area. A little better cleaning recommended. In the process of improving the whole place.”

• It had two rooms, the bed linen.
• Wasn't clean, safety, appearance, use of amenities.

“The hotel was under construction with concrete tools, wet concrete, hoses throughout the halls, wet floors, safety tape, huge sheets of plastic for painting throughout the courtyard and pool area. The hot tub was not working. Our room had a broken lamp that the light bulb was leaning against the lamp shade which was an obvious fire hazard. The sink handle came off while turning on the water. The table top was not attached to the table so that it and everything on it would fall. The breakfast consisted of toast, cereal, orange juice and decaf only. This in my opinion was far from a three star hotel. I am very disappointed.”

• Parking, construction, small pool, broken hot tub.

“The hotel is under construction and so it is messy and stuff is blocked off, closed, not working, etc. The room was just fine. I was there for 2 nights for a Busch Gardens trip. Very close. The surrounding neighborhood seemed safe but not very clean. Lots of kids wandering the parking lots, courtyard, hallways. Small pool, broken hot tub was unfortunate. Best part was the look of the courtyard and the room had a separate bedroom. I only saw one staff person at the front desk and she was pleasant. Overall it was an ok stay.”

• I liked the staff. They were very friendly and helpful.
• Many items broken in room including ability to take a bath instead of a shower.

“This is not a 3 star hotel. The staff is very friendly and it is very close to Busch Gardens, but there are many things that are outdated in the room and many items in our room were broken including the faucet in the bath tub (the shower worked fine but 4 year olds don't like to shower). The continental breakfast is pretty good but overall you feel as if you're in a hotel that just kind of threw some rooms together (the ice bucket and linens said "Holiday Inn" and the phone had another hotel's name on it) and because it has a separate bedroom said it was a 3 star hotel.”

• It was the cleanest room (at any price) that I have ever stayed in.
• Not enough eating space and chairs & no extra towels at office.

• All the rooms have a couch and chair in one room and a bed in another.
• I can think of nothing I did not like.

“The rooms are clean and neat with a central A/C, heat and it feels like you are staying in a two room villa. All the rooms face an inside Courtyard and you have to go through the lobby or use a key card for a side door. I felt extremely safe even through the hotel door was paned glass. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are in good condition. There even a small tike bar at the pool for adults. Ya!”

• There wasn't anything to do other than the pool and that was dirty.

“This was a great hotel. We got a great price. They have a free shuttle to Busch Gardens. The rooms were pretty, comfortable, and clean. Decent spread at the continental breakfast. Friendly staff. We will stay here again.”

“The rooms were excellent. Very large and very well equipped. Staff was extremely friendly. Very helpful. Location was perfect. The shuttle ran on time and was excellent. I will definitely book here again and recommend this hotel.”

• Poor neighborhood, undesirable tenants.

“Did not appear to be 3 Star hotel by appearance. Hotel staff polite, but tenants were not typical, upscale subjects. Room was adequate, however, couch in poor condition and bathroom smelled. Up most of fight due to fighting in the parking lot. Bad experience.”

• The beds were really comfortable.
• The overall hotel star rating should have been less, 2 or 2.5 stars.

“The hotel staff was friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The Jacuzzi was broken during our stay, which was disappointing. It was very close to Busch Gardens, however, it is a 45 minute drive to St. Pete and Clearwater. While, Downtown Tampa was about 30 minutes away.”

• The hotel is newly renovated and the beddings and carpet are comfortable and clean.
• The hotel is local too close to SFU and full of students who hung their swimming shorts on balcony hand rail.

• The pool area was beautiful and lush with greenery.
• Called to get directions, explained which interstate I was on and the exit and she had no clue on how to tell me to get to the hotel.

“Overall it was good. The pool area was great. The room was nice. The bed great but the pillows were the down there were about 8 pillows and none were supportive. Over all it was good.”

• Smallest double beds in the world! Hot tub not heated.

“Loads of children screaming in the pool until well past midnight. No restaurant for dinner or lunch. Six seat tiki hut pool side, no where to relax away from splashing screaming children. Dust/dirt around and behind dressers, stained carpets.”
