• Room was not clean - had to move.

• Affordable, safe and has continental breakfast.
• Noise of other guests, lack of elevator.

• Good location.
• Smell of room, plumbing backed up.

“The room has terrible smell, it had air deodorized on TV and was overwhelming. The toilet backed up. The shower did not drain well and needed plunged.”

• The owner / manager created an atmosphere very military friendly.
• It would have been nice if eggs were included in the breakfast buffet.

“This hotel was very handily located where we needed to be. All the staff was exceptionally friendly. Free high-speed wireless internet satisfied my business needs while there. The room was clean, comfortable and had lots of coffee packets. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• The location was perfect, most of the staff were very friendly, helpful and very hard working.
• The bed's need to be replaced not the most comfortable and the carpet needed to be replaced.

“This hotel was better than expected, location was great; the housekeeping staff very friendly and efficient. Most of the front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful, with the exception of one who was rude to my daughter, I didn't get his name however, but all in all I had a most enjoyable time.”

• It was inexpensive.
• It was burnt and dirty.

“Although I did not select a first-class motel and knew that, I was totally unprepared for the poor quality of this 2 1/2 star motel. It deserves only one star. The motel was dirty, the bed was uncomfortable, and our room had cigarette burns all over it. Don't get me wrong; I'm a smoker. But I cannot imagine how they let a room pass with burns all over the floor, tables, and tub. Everything needs to be replaced. Perhaps if they put ashtrays in their smoking rooms they would find less burns. In any case, as a manager I would close the room until such time as I was not embraced to let a guest stay in it. Pathetic! The only positive thing I can say about the motel is that it was close to our destination of interest.”

• I like the breakfast and the bed.
• There was a small roach in the bathroom.

“It was a nice hotel. I left my toothpaste at home and was hoping the front desk had some and sure enough it did.”

• I loved the location and very friendly staff, cleanliness, of rooms and pool area and I loved the staff.
• I loved everything about the hotel.

“I would recommend this hotel to everyone for business and leisure travel. The cleanliness was great and staff was excellent, very friendly. The location was great! I will return to this hotel again if and when I am able to return to Tampa.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• The internet connection is a joke.

“The location is poor, but did not feel unsafe. The facilities were quite old/run-down, but seemed well-maintained and were very clean. My biggest problem here was the absolute lack of internet connection - the hotel advertises wireless internet for each room, but does not actually have the capacity to deliver that promise. I and at least one other guest found ourselves running out to coffee shops on the other side of Tampa in order to complete our business, which was extremely inconvenient. This hotel is fine for an economy traveler that is not conducting business.”

• Convenient to interstate, mostly clean, friendly, helpful staff.
• External entrance to rooms had to ask for towels and washcloths every day.

“This is not a hotel, but is a motel. The rooms were mostly clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Only problem we had, which is minor, was there were never enough towels or washcloths for a family of 4. We had to go the front desk on a daily basis to get enough for 4. The daily complimentary breakfast was acceptable. I would recommend this motel, as long as you are looking for something inexpensive and clean, and not looking for a suite or fancy rooms. The motels strong ties to the US Military were evident by the pictures in the lobby and were a welcome site.”

• There was a Perkins restaurant across the parking lot.
• The rooms smell like mold.

“I was expecting something a lot different. The quality of the hotel left a lot to be desired. There were only 2 pillows on each bed I am used to finding more. The TV reception was bad on a lot of the channels. And the beds were hard.”

• Great location, price, comfortable, and clean.
• The bathroom light did not work.

“On my next visit to Tampa I would definitely stay here. Very nice staff, clean room and comfortable bed and a very nice swimming pool area. Good restaurants and shopping are nearby.”
