• I liked the huge tub and closeness to the bike path.
• Nothing.

“The Cherry Valley Lodge has a lot to offer most travelers. Depending on your likes, you could spend the day at CoCo Key Water resort or relax with a massage. You could enjoy a gourmet dinner or pizza in your room. I would recommend this lodge for families as well as for a romantic getaway.”

• Some hallway carpets were dirty.

• Large comfortable room, beautiful grounds.
• Closet is in the bathroom so clothes get humid with showers.

“Located at the border of Granville and Newark, this hotel is well maintained and friendly. The rooms are very large with a large screen TV, a separate desk and couch and free internet. There are reasonable restaurants on site and nearby. The indoor resort of Coco Key was great fun with the grandchildren and for us not quite seniors too.”

• Uncomfortable beds.

“Check-in was quick and easy. The staff was very good. The room had a slight smell of smoke even though the room was a non-smoking room. There were burns on the wing chair and desk chair. I did report this to the front desk and they offered to place an ionizer in the room. One door of the closet sliding doors did not work as it was off the tracks. The bed were not very comfortable and seemed to be of low quality. There was mildew in the shower grout. It appeared as though maintenance was not a priority. It looks like a very enjoyable place for the kids, old and young.”

• The beds were comfortable and there were good movies to watch.
• There was a strange odor lurking the air.

“We stayed at the hotel for one night and slept great. The food was a little pricey but it was very enjoyable. The pool looked great although we did not swim in it.”

• Nicely appointed room; facility totally non-smoking.
• A bit noisy from the corridor, but it didn't last.

“The grounds are beautiful, lobby and public areas very nicely appointed, rooms/baths very nice. We had dinner at the restaurant the first night, and it was very good, and decent value with the coupon we received at check-in. [We were a pair of business travelers].”

• Almost all of our requests were met quickly and the staff was very kind.
• The entertainment in the room and throughout the hotel was overly expensive and not very abundant.

“We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very nice. I was pleased with the way we were treated over all. I was not very impressed with the in room movie selection or the prices of the extras provided both in the room and throughout the hotel. The room was very clean, spacious and well stocked with towels and extra pillows. We requested a few extras from the front desk and were pleased with how quickly those requests were granted. The hotel is a very quite and luxurious place to visit and we would be happy to return in the future.”

“The hotel met all of my expectations and more. My greyhound was welcome, the room service was fast and friendly and the room was spotless and well maintained. The holiday decor in the lodge was beautiful and tasteful. Because it was over the Christmas holiday we did have several meals there including breakfast on Christmas morning. We hosted a birthday luncheon on the 26th and we had friends in for a cocktail party that evening; everything was beyond our expectations and we will be going there again!”
