  • Room would have felt cramped with two people.

  • Very nice staff. Beautiful non smoking room on 2nd floor.
  • No elevator to 2nd floor!

“Very comfortable, friendly, convenient. Seems like they are in midst of updating, which some rooms do need. Easy access to airport.”

  • The hotel was close and convenient to anything one could ask for. shopping, dining, music (though not to everyone's taste) and even the airport.
  • The inside pool was under construction.

“This hotel was family friendly and clean. The maids service was very patient for once who sleep in late. This hotel deserves to be one of the 5 stars. I enjoyed my stay. And who highly recommend to my friends and business partners.”

  • After we checked in they called and asked if the room met our expectations.
  • Nothing.

“This was a very nice hotel; the beds were comfortable; it was conveniently located; it was clean, well decorated, and well maintained; the staff was friendly and helpful; and the breakfast buffet was good and affordable.”

  • Convenient location, beautiful pools, comfier beds.
  • Room smelled like cat, could not breathe.

  • The room was clean.
  • The TV was old and small, the remote did not work and the hotel did not replace it after a call and you could hear everything in the hotel.

“The hotel was old and should be updated starting with the TV. I also think when you call the desk about something wrong in the room they should replace it when it is easy to do.”

  • I loved how comfortable the beds were.
  • Your breakfast options were just OK. My son ate hot & husband cold.

“Not sure if this is a newly remodeled hotel but was thrilled to have such comfortable beds. After 12 hours of driving, it was fantastic to sleep in a comfortable bed. Often beds are too soft and lumpy. Not the case here. Felt much rested. It was such a positive experience that we stayed here on our way home to Chicago. Thanks!”

  • Difficult for elderly or disabled. 2 story no elevator. Requested a 1st floor room 2 weeks prior and none available at check in.

  • The hotel was quiet and there wasn't any noise at night. The beds had 4 pillows on each bed and they were very comfortable. It is close to Biltmore.
  • I could feel the coil springs in the mattress on the bed in room 266, very uncomfortable. Some one below our room was smoking and smells came up to us.

“The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Erin the night manager was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very close to the Biltmore and several great restaurants. Our stay was very enjoyable and uninterrupted at holiday inn Asheville airport.”

  • Excellent price and quality room.
  • The lobby smelled like smoke.

“Overall, I was very impressed with the overall accommodations. The staff was kind and courteous and the room was attractive and well lay out. My only beef with my stay was the hotel lobby had a musty, smoky smell to it. It wouldn't have been as much of a problem had the wifi actually been reachable in my room. I couldn't get a signal in the room, so I had to sit in -- you guessed it -- the lobby for internet access. Total bummer.”

  • Convenient to restaurants and airport.
  • The hanger bar clientele use most of the parking spots and drive dangerously thru lot every night.

“Room was adequate (no refrigerator). TV was junk but operational. Cleaning staff was courteous and did an excellent job. They take pets which is a plus if you need it. The price was right for this type of room and service. P.s. The restaurant service and quality of food & coffee left allot to be desired. I will stay here again just for the convenience and price.”

  • Rooms were very attractively furnished.
  • No elevator.

“Found this hotel to be reasonably close (10 miles) to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville. Rooms were better than anticipated. Older hotel but recently redecorated. Lacks an indoor pool, but for short or business stays I would highly recommend this hotel. Everything you need, nothing you do not.”

  • Disorganized reservations desk staff.

“Our only problem was that when we called the hotel to check on our room specifics, we got mixed info. I called again Friday morning to make sure they were holding our rooms for late night arrival and let them know we would be in about midnight. I was told at that time we had two nonsmoking rooms with 2 queen beds in each and that they were holding them for our late arrival. When we arrived, the only rooms available were smoking with 1 king size bed. The gentleman on duty was friendly, but there was really nothing he could do. He said we could try to change rooms on Saturday - which we did. The beds were a little hard, but I wasn't expecting them to be deluxe at the price we were paying during peak season. The hotel and rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet was convenient, but not the best quality. It is also the only occasion where the hotel staff has misinformed us about our rooms.”

  • Could easily hear TV in adjoining room through the connecting doors - management didn't get them to turn it down to a low level.

  • Lobby was clean, onsite restaurants and bar.
  • Could hear the people next door, very thin walls.

“We stayed during the Halloween weekend, unfortunately they were throwing a Halloween party for staff, guests and local residence. To our dismay not can we only hear the loud music but the guests next door as well due to the thin walls. I'm sure they could hear as also. We ended up whispering throughout our entire stay and couldn't enjoy ourselves especially my younger kids because we were always thinking we might cause a disturbance when the hotel staff themselves were playing the boom box on high volume. Go figure. ”

  • Nice and clean room.
  • Loud crowded club on premises took up all parking spaces.

“This is a nice Holiday Inn, just off the Interstate. However, we arrived there late on Saturday night and had difficulty getting a parking space because of a loud club located in the hotel. Also, early Sunday morning, the housekeeping staff was loudly banging on doors down the hall and yelling housekeeping.”
