• Clean, convenient location and

• There was a family with screaming kids living in the same floor. They constantly smoked and I was afraid to use the vending machine at night.

“I think this hotel should not be advertised as a vacation hotel when they take on homeless type people to live there on a long-term basis. I feel I need a credit. I am a single dad and drove 400 miles each way to help my daughter to move into college. I think this hotel takes advantage of its Asheville location to charge a higher rate. I know I have stayed at better hotels in the past for a much cheaper rate. I wasn't allowed to name my own price for this particular weekend.”

• Breakfast was adequate.
• The room smelled bad and it seemed old and dirty.

“This hotel seems old. It might be adequate for someone needing a place to pass through on a one night stay but it is not a hotel you would look forward to coming back to for a second night.”

• Nice, quiet and spacious-a great price for having a balcony.

“Overall, it was a very nice hotel. The room was spacious, had a balcony, comfortable king size bed, very quiet and all for a great price! We would definitely stay there again.”

• Difficult to find from the highway. Not enough signage from the road.

“We had asked for non-smoking rooms, but the rooms, we got, one was musty smelling and the other reeked of smoke, even the sheets and pillows smelled of smoke. Closeness to the city and the Estate was great.”
