“Old, outdated, smells bad in rooms. Rooms were worn and run down. No extra towels, wash cloths, or soap. Charges $4 for a bottle of water. Restaurant is expensive. No free continental breakfast. Was glad to leave.”

“The employees were very nice, they offered public internet access and printers making printing of boarding passes great (although it also attracted children and teenagers who occupied them). The property itself was old and unkempt. Carpets looked dirty, bathroom tub was rusted around the drain, sinks were old and stained. The public restrooms were disgusting and dirty. I would not stay at this location with children.”

“The first impression is very nice, the lobby atrium attractive, the rooms are suites, but we didn't need the extra space, it was just two of us. The hotel staff, bartender and another restaurant employee were short with us when we were looking around trying to see the place, it was closing time and it appears they were worried that we wanted service, they were pretty rude. There were not cups for water or towels in the work out room, just an observation. The bed wasn't that comfortable and they have metal end tables that are rusted, not sure why they would choose this to decorate in FL, looks like they were picked up in a flea market. The pictures on the walls were silver, the colors of the room gold, it didn't match. However, the hotel served its purpose for our previous cruise stay. I wont choose this location again though and I would have paid a little extra for something nicer. The gift shop was having a great sale, the cashier there was a great sales lady!”

“I travel full time for work, so I have stayed in my share of hotels and this one is older, faulty work done inside and the cleanliness was just not there at all. The handle on the mini fridge in my hotel room was literally constructed from black electrical tape, the window to the bedroom fell out of it's track while I tried to slide it open, there were random stains on the furniture that were crusty, the garbage can had some kind of gross dried liquid all over it, there was rust on everything metal in the bathroom, the bathroom exhaust fan did not work, the wireless internet was free if you were in range of it or $9.95 per day if you used the wire in your room. I was absolutely disgusted by the state of the rooms, first of all, the window falling out of its track is a very big safety issue, when maintenance came to my room to check it out, the response was that the windows were very old and they need to replace them. The options that were presented to me were I could either deal with it, leave the window open or ask the front desk to move my room. Considering that I had a computer, camera and other belongings, I opted for a different room, which took them 45 minutes to get for me. The room was just gross in terms of cleanliness, I was very disgusted. Crusty stains on the furniture, filthy garbage cans, so I can only imagine how dirty the carpet actually was. The room they changed me to was cleaner, but not by much, the window for the bedroom still did not have a working lock. The mini fridge was newer, but still dirty. The hotel staff was nice and didn't give me a hard time about changing the room, but I will never stay there again.”

“It was an old, dated, dirty hotel that is comparable to a nice Ramada Inn.”

“Paneling was falling off the doors. Room stank. Mold in the bathroom. Rust on the taps and around the bathroom. Felt like you couldn’t put anything on the floor. Electrical outlets were coming out of the wall. Fold away bed was useless. Pool area was closed. For perspective, I've never given a negative report for a hotel before. This was a mess.”

“Hotel located near TPA. Free shuttle from airport and to locations near hotel. Suite had two different rooms. The first was a living room with a wet bar and microwave. The second was the sleeping area. Free use of Internet in lobby. Most all room face the open plaza (center of hotel). We paid $10 per for a shuttle to the port for our cruise. Highly recommended.”

“Overall, a great experience. The front desk staff was not effective in adjusting when I missed my plane and was forced to check into the hotel a day late. They called every day to find out when I was leaving. Annoying.”

“Our room 511 looked old and out-dated. Carpet are worn out. The bathroom is small I can touch the door when I sit on the toilet, water leaked from the tub after shower, creating a little puddle by the door. It's a nice size room with a wet bar but a lot of waste space. I saw from the window - other rooms look nicer more modern. So maybe I got unlucky. But then shouldn't every room looks the same. It doesn't deserve the 3 1/2 stars though. I'd give it 2 1/2 or 3 stars max.”
