“Large inviting atrium lobby suite hotel, starting to appear its age. Room furnishings out of date, and rooms look worn and very tired and old (early 1980's) and have heavy mildew odor. Bathroom showing age, vent fan missing from bath, rusty hinges, bath drains were slow.”

“I was quite surprised at the overall poor condition of this property. I expected the Sheraton brand of hotels to far exceed my expectations. The room was furnished with older furniture, there was mold on the wall under the sink and on the floor, the entire AC system in the hotel was out of service upon check in and we were told they were working on it. In lieu of no AC, we were offered breakfast at the hotel, which we accepted but found fruit flies in and around the Danish and fruits. Very disappointed.”

“The hotel was very promising when we entered and checked in, but the moment we stepped foot in our room it was a terrible wet feeling. Way to humid and the couple we were traveling with had the same experience in their room on a totally different floor. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“Very food for me but if with a companion, extremely not acceptable. Clean carpet. Speed water in restrooms. Speed elevator. Make ice and vendor machines available on all floors at each end of floors. Staff at desk and housekeeping was extremely helpful and should receive on-spot reward of at least 100$ split at next staff meeting. They explained all putter, foods, directions, etc., all with smiles and genuine service for me. I will send 100$ if U let me know. I landed and arrive before time. They got me in accommodations hours before required. Exceptional service. Do remove and replace the carpets.”

“This hotel obviously caters to business travelers and groups. We stayed one night on the weekend before catching an early flight from the nearby airport. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly. We did use the pool and hot tub which were pleasant but did not try the restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“This Sheraton was obviously a very nice hotel at some point, but while the public spaces are still impressive, the rooms are badly in need of a redo. Furniture (especially in the living room suite) was old, and the room had a very odd smell.”

“Room generally clean, bathroom very small. Next to no privacy in sitting room area due to ridiculously small window treatments. Staff was generally quick to respond to questions or concerns. Very well located to airport, interstates and downtown with a car. Overall good value for the money.”

“The hotel had a nice atmosphere, but the rooms need a lot of updating. It seems as if the rooms windows were leaking because the carpet was damp. Overall the location was great. The staff were very nice and helpful.”

“The hotel was beautiful, but from inside a little outdated but still very nice. The bed curved inward but the 2 room suite was nice. Located right on highway so not the best views. But would recommend this hotel for a short term stay. Breakfast was very pricy as well.”

“The hotel was overall good but, it did have its drawbacks. The room was clean and the area with the bed in it was nice but the living room area looked kind of old and used. The lobby was spectacular and I loved how it was designed. The staff at the start tried to over charge me and the check in took about 30 minutes. We did go to the bar and the bartender took 20 minutes to make our drinks and he was unfriendly! He seemed to be more concerned with the wedding party that was going on than me and my husband. He was definitely the worse part about the hotel. I didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel but it did look good.”

“We had requested a 4 star hotel. The hotel room was large and the beds were very comfortable, but the toilet barely worked, the remote control didn't work, slats were broken on the blinds, and the shower made strange sounds. One of the elevators also didn't work. Was not a 4 star.”

“Although off the Westshore business loop, this hotel was ideally located and provided free parking and shuttle to the Tampa Airport. Due to flight delays, I arrived the next day (1 am) despite this my room was still available and the front desk staff was welcoming despite the late hour.”
