• Cookies at check-in, yumm!
• Our long track to our room till we found another elevator.

“The are currently renovating, and our room was stale smelling, we only stayed for one night so I did not report to get a new room and we had to set the air to 65 to get it to cool down, and it was still warm the air unit was loud, other than that it was a nice place to rest our heads before going to the ZOO with out 2 year old son, I loved the towels, and bedding, TV did not have a lot to choose.”

• The location and the service was good for the price.
• There was an unpleasant smell. The door for the bathroom didn't close properly. Some of the channels on the television didn't work.

“I would say for the price, this hotel met our standards. The price was reasonable with friendly service. The restaurant in the hotel was good. I would have liked the breakfast buffet to be included for our stay but it wasn't. Breakfast buffet offered a variety of choices at 13 per adult and half price for kids. This hotel was located about one hour away from Disney and about twenty minutes to Bush Gardens.”

• Comfortable and cute with a great lobby and convenient shuttle service.
• I saw 1 very small spider and a few tiny ants in my room. I was not bothered, but someone else might be. It could have been due to the balcony.

“The lobby is very nice and spacious. I did not dine in the restaurants, but the Sports bar looked interesting. The king room was quite small but very comfortable and clean. They seem to be on the tail end of re-construction, so this room seems to have been a little old. I would definitely cal it a 3 star hotel.”

• Super comfortable beds.
• Some of the public areas were a bit shop worn.

“The Tampa Doubletree lived up to our expectations as a comfortable place to stay and well situated for our business. When we had a special room request, the staff worked hard to accommodate us. We plan to return regularly as business brings us to Tampa.”

• I was able to sleep with no interruptions and the room was very clean.
• It was to far from where I needed to be thats all.

“I am appalled at the lack of quality and service at this hotel. I would not recommend this, to anyone for that matter. I am furious at the lack of help from the hotel. When I complained to the customer service associates at the hotel, they were rude and un-co-operative.”

• Provided extra towels and shampoo.
• No fans in fitness room.

“Nice room with comfortable bed, could use a fridge/micro/wet bar. Our room was convenient to ice/vending/stairs. Free wireless internet in room would have been nice. Good quality room for price, loved the balcony!”

• The business center was excellent and the shuttle was a great amenity.
• Common items in the gift shop was too pricey.

“The location of the hotel was great and staff was very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the helpfulness of the shuttle driver.”

• Remodeled, clean rooms with soft bedding.
• Old hotel, some things not remodeled.

“This is an older hotel that has been remodeled nicely; however, the remodel was not complete however. New furniture, new bathroom fixtures, etc, but the ceiling, walls, outlet covers, doors, etc. Were old. Overall, clean with nice furnishings and very soft, comfortable bedding, but still a hotel built probably 20-30 years ago.”

• Beds were comfy.
• Still using poor quality towels. Business Center only had one working computer.

“The location was great! Close to St Pete/Clearwater airport and even closer to Tampa airport. Mall nearby and lots of restaurant choices. In a busy business district. Short drive to beaches if you have a car. $30 Taxi ride for two to Busch Gardens. Housekeeping staff I encountered did not speak English. Getting anything from them required a call to front desk and a wait. Front desk staff very busy talking amongst themselves every time I went to the desk. I had to wait or interrupt. I asked for a toothbrush at 9 pm when my daughter realized she forgot hers. No one ever brought it up. Lots of airline staff stay here. Lobby is very busy. Always a line for Business Center.”

• Lobby was very beautiful and spacious, with plenty of seats.
• Despite calling in advance, handicap accessible accommodations had not been noted on our reservation.

“We had to call the front desk 3 times to get the primary light bulb in the bathroom replaced. It wasn't until the third call when we told them our TV wasn't working that they came to help us. Later, when we went down to the hot tub on Saturday evening someone had left a hose in it - it was overflowing everywhere and obviously compromised the temperature in the hot tub. My husband found the faucet and turned the hose off. We never saw a staff member come out to check it the entire 30 minutes we were down there. I never saw typical Doubletree standards except in the lobby. We utilized the hotel restaurant on Sat morning for the breakfast buffet- there was only one other occupied table so much of the buffet looked like it had been out for a while without attention, and I'm still trying to figure out the lack of attention from the wait staff with so few tables occupied. You could hear the employees rolling silverware near by and talking loudly.”

• The bed was extremely comfortable.
• The bathroom door was damaged, grout bad & one side of toilet was dirty.

“The overall experience was good. When I recently stayed at a nice Ramada, a hot breakfast buffet was included at a much lower price.”

“We stayed at hotel 3 nights and were pretty satisfied. We didn't get enough towels in the room and had to call each night but they were delivered promptly. We had 3 people in our room and were quite cramped with the luggage. Overall, however, we were satisfied.”
