• Very quiet rooms; we never heard a neighbor or airplane.
• Breakfast items were allowed to run too low during peak eating hours.

“Very attentive staff, attractive 1st floor with ample seating areas. 24 hour food from in-hotel menu. Rooms have been remodeled. No laundry area and outside pool.”

• I was extremely pleased with the room layout.
• The coffee wasn't great and the pool was nothing special.

“Overall, our expectations were exceeded. Great rooms, great staff and a great GM. The continental breakfast had a nice variety for the whole family.”

• Having a small kitchen was a plus.
• Some of the fixtures are a little out dated.

“I only stayed at this hotel for one night after a long flight from Oregon. When I arrived the staff was very friendly and helpful. In the morning they did have a complimentary breakfast of cereals, fruit, juices, and bagels. If you are needing a hotel that is close to the airport this is the perfect place.”

• The spaciousness of the room, the bed was very comfortable and the big screen tv was an added bonus.
• The breakfast was okay, but a complimentary 'hot' choice would have been nice (i.e. waffle maker).

“Overall, an excellent place to stay. It was very convenient to shopping and dining when we were done with the show that we were doing at the Tampa Convention Center during the day.”

  affordable.
• Nothing.

“This was one of the best hotels I stayed in. The staff greeted you every time you passed one by with a friendly hello, they were helpful. The bed was comfortable. I really did not want to leave. The room had a pull out sectional, mini refrigerator, enough cups and a sink. Simple and beautiful for the 3 star rating.”

• Room was nice with continental breakfast.
• I fell in the bath tub. I reported it and said they would follow up with me and they didn't. Disappointing.

“Hotel manager said they would call to see how I was doing and they didn't. Not very professional and lacks customer service.”

• Room was fantastic and modern.
• Check-in was a bit slow, I was the only one checking in at the time but front desk staff was accommodating.

• The bed was very comfortable. There was a huge TV which was nice. Plenty of room in the hotel. The AC was ice cold which I love.
• Would have been nice to have a shower massager and there were no books in the room about the hotel about room service or the area which was odd.

“The room was spacious and comfortable with a small fridge and a large sectional. It was nice that there was a partition between the bed and living area. There was a large TV which swiveled easily for viewing on the couch or in the bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a very nice stay.”

• It was a very comfortable environment that felt welcoming. The staff was pleasant. It felt like a resort.
• The toilet in the room had to be repaired twice and kept running water on the seat. I had to close the door not to hear the running water.

“Overall the experience was great! It was conveniently located near the airport, expressway and to shopping locations. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Tampa. I am especially thrilled that I experienced this wonderful hotel at a great price.”

• Location near airport; free breakfast; room amenities.
• A little difficult to locate.

“This hotel has been recently purchased and upgraded by Hyatt. The physical plant is new and contemporary, and the front desk/Bistro area is interesting. The room did lack a phone book and list of hotel services. The location is near the Tampa airport.”

• I absolutely loved the television. It was marvelous.
• There was no microwave.

“The hotel was great. The staff was friendly and the room was perfect. I've never slept in a bed that comfortable, and breakfast was a very pleasurable experience. I would recommend the Hyatt to anyone.”

• The bed was very comfortable and the 42 LCD TV was great, staff very nice.
• I wish the breakfast bar stayed open an extra hour.

“The staff went out of their way, more then is usual to be courteous and helpful, right down to the janitor and maintenance people. The bed was wonderful and the room in general had a very pleasant decor, including a nice, big LCD TV.”

• Hyatt Place is a new concept to me. I liked it.
• No complementary breakfast before 6:00 a.m.

“Room was beyond expectations, more like a suite. Dinner was good, easy to order and not overly expensive. Somewhat limited menu. Nothing within walking distance. I like Hyatt Place hotels.”

• Convenient to downtown Tampa.
• Bathroom dirty on arrival, no hotel amenities guide in room.

“This hotel conveniently located near the airport and downtown convention center offers very good continental breakfast (not just the generic pastries but fresh fruit cereals toast yogurt etc). Complimentary internet access was a definite plus. Business center has only 2 computers and a printer the fax machine was accessible only by staff not very convenient if your documents are sensitive and you are pressed for time. Otherwise good experience.”
