• The decorations and location to the surrounding interstates while not too close to the airport.
• Had some issues at check-in but a supervisor sorted it out and I was satisfied.

“This is a beautiful hotel! There are a few great chain restaurants across the street in a very large mall so we were not bound to the hotel restaurant which was rather expensive (Shula's Steakhouse). I would definitely stay in this hotel again.”

• Easy check in and good service.
• No views, view to an office building courtyard.

“Great decor, excellent service. Shula steak house in lobby was an excellent dining experience. Hotel staff friendly and helpful.”

• Decor was nice.
• Hot room and lack of responsibility for valet service.

“My husband and I arrived on April 18 and gave car to valet to park, checked in. We went downstairs to leave for dinner and when car was brought the glove box, latch was completely broken off. When I asked what happened no one knew anything. I asked at front desk to speak to the manager and he said the valet is a third party and there's nothing he could do but call their company to have an incident report done. Then their company would file with their insurance but I would have to pay the deductible. Basically I felt he was discouraging me from reporting the incident. Why would the valet have any need to open anything in my car unless he was looking for something to steal? Why is there no sign out front disclaiming the hotel from any responsibility? Also, on the night of arrival I asked if something could be done about the air conditioning because the room was hot. Maintenance came up and said nothing could be done, that's just the way the system is. The front desk didn't help in any way and I spend 2 sleepless night in a supposedly 4 star hotel. Decor does not make a hotel 4 star.”

• The fitness room. Lots of equipment each with their own TV.
• Nothing.

“Great place to stay. Everything about this hotel says, "class". From the decor and extras in the rooms to the amenities that the hotel offers. There's a flat screen TV, big fluffy robe, big fluffy towels, and a very inviting king size bed in the rooms. The fitness center is top notch and the pool is very cool perched up on the 9th floor overlooking the city and ocean.”

• Great hotel.
• They put us in a room on the top floor next to the elevator motors, it was noisy and I could not sleep!

“Other than the noisy room it was very nice. But not being bale to sleep ruins the whole thing.”

• Loved the design and simpliness of the hotel staff, great!

“The hotel and rooms staff etc were great but the ice machines were so loud they kept you up at night including the air conditioning system it sounded like a helicopter was above you all night so I wouldn't recommend an 11th floor room or one near an ice machine. There should be No Smoking by the pool entrance very distasteful when your swimming and trying to be healthy.”

• Great rooms and well located for business and shopping.
• Valet/Bell staff not professional at all.

“I would stay here again, but the staff was somewhat untrained in relation to the level of this hotels rating. Uninterested bar staff, merely going through motions. Shula's Steakhouse on site was an added plus.”

• Amazing service, cleanliness & great location central to everything in Tampa.
• That I had to leave.

“The accommodations were amazing. Room service went above & beyond & the food was fantastic. We melted into the bad & the modern decor made us feel very comfortable.”

• Overall impressed with entire hotel and staff, the amenities were generous, bed was comfy.
• Wished the parking was a little better, more lighting.

• It was close to the airport. There was a mall within walking distance as well as good restaurants.
• The room felt stuffy at times. The A/C did not circulate well

“My husband and daughter went on the trip to a college she was considering in Sarasota. We had two double beds in the eleventh floor. The room was quite elegant with new appliances. Unfortunately, could not use the refrigerator to keep water bottles cold because just moving any container would electronically bill the room. They did tell us that ahead of time. There was a mall within walking distance as well as a restaurant called Michael's that the concierge recommended. Overall we would stay there if we ever go back..”

• Great king-size bed with comfortable mattress, room smelled good, very fresh.
• Smoking was allowed out by the pool on the 9th floor; at least they had a smoking area. There were outdoor court yards on the first floor, no smoking.

“Check in staff was very professional and informative. Very safe hotel. Very clean. Turn down service with Chocolates and note in an envelope. Included shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, etc. Extremely impressed with courtesy of staff. Left a pair of slacks in the closet and called Lost and Found. Received a telephone call from Housekeeping that they were found and mailing to me via FedEx. Could not ask for better service.”

• The evening turn-down service.
• Nothing.

“This hotel was amazing from the beginning. After checking in, two hours early, my husband and I relaxed in the lush bed listening to the great sound machine/radio. Upon coming back to the room, after dinner, we noticed ice in the ice bucket, chocolates on the pillows, a robe and house slippers, and the music playing was a nice jazz. Will stay here, when in town, from now on!”

• Everything was immaculate and the view from the pool is gorgeous.
• Nothing is included, they charge extra for almost everything.

• They did not have two double beds and they gave a suite instead! Perfect!
• I liked everything about this hotel. I wish it was downtown Tampa for conference attendees.
