• The rooms were spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable.
• The self parking is not safe, no security and not clean around the elevators leading to the lobby.

“We truly enjoyed our second staff at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable. During this last stay, the bathroom sink leaked the whole time, we called and they send someone to fix it but it still leaked. Also, when in the shower, the water would remain in the tub, took a long time to drain. Overall, a great place.”

• The most comfortable bed ever!
• Nothing! I loved everything!

“Very attractive hotel and rooms. Super comfortable bed! LCD flat screen TVs! Very spacious room and bathroom! Great location-across from the mall/movies/restaurants. About 10 minutes from Busch Gardens! Would definitely stay here again! Tip: you can bring iPod, video game consoles, etc. There is a special plug box for all of your entertainment needs!”

• The rooms were clean, it had free computers for the children.

“The location of the hotel was near the airport and the view was good for the one night we stayed, we had a comfortable stay and would stay again but for a longer time.”

• The common areas were really nice.
• We thought our non-smoking room smelled of smoke.

“Though the hotel is extremely nice for family and a romantic outing. It seems geared more towards business travelers and conventions.”

• You had a ceiling to floor view from the window of the outside.
• The sink was too high for my children to reach.

“This hotel was beautiful and very nice to stay in. More for adults than for children as my children could not reach the fancy up-lifted sink to brush their teeth.”

• Modern overall appearance, comfortable bed, nice TV, free parking.
• Room window faced office building, lobby was extremely cold.

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was a nice size with comfortable bed and modern furnishings. Hotel windows should have reflective coating to block view into the room from inside of adjacent office building. Overall nice hotel and I would stay there again.”

• Comfortable beds, nice rooms.
• Shoals restaurant was below par, was surprised.

“My mother left her checkbook in the safe when we left, and when we got back home, I called and the security people opened the safe and sent her items back to us without incident. Good service.”

“The staff of this hotel exceeds the expectations the average person has of a 4 star hotel. It is not a resort with many amenities but for the business oriented traveler you will have everything you need and very high quality of it.”

• Well appointed rooms that were inviting and extremely comfortable beds and pillows.
• The roof top pool was a disappointment because you couldn't see the Skyline and it looked at the parking garage.

“The Intercontinental Tampa was a beautiful hotel with well appointed and extremely comfortable rooms. The beds had nice linens and the pillows were superb.”

• Ordering from the room service menu is difficult as it is geared to big eaters.

“Convenient, clean, and friendly. The rooms are comfortable without being pretentious. The food is good, but far from great. The people make up the difference.”

• The heavy doors are very loud when they close in the hallway.

“This upscale hotel is staffed by personable, knowledgeable professionals. The rooms are immaculate and have top of the line linens and toiletries. The steaks and service at Shula's are impeccable. I would highly recommend this hotel.”
