“Overall, the hotel was what I expected. It was located near everything we planned to visit. The children really enjoyed the hot tub and pool, which were clean. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful.”

“This is a decent place if your traveling on a budget. There are all different types of people at this hotel. Wedding parties, Traveling baseball teams (has. kids) business people. The location is near the airport. From the outside it is more attractive than the surrounding hotels. Comfort Inn, Super 8 and some local hotels. Overall, not a bad place for the price. Don't expect the Ritz, but when your in Sarasota. How much time are you really spending in the hotel?.”

“Good value for the price. The place needs roof insulation, as the upper part of the room was very warm (2nd flr room), thus making it difficult to adjust the AC. The room got real cold in the middle of the night. The Wi-Fi connection was sporadic, (lost it completely at night. low signal) and speed really slow, ended up using the next door's motel signal. Acceptable free morning buffet.”

“This hotel is a very poor facility and violate State of Florida hotel regulations as well as their VISA credit card merchant's contract(s). They are not in a safe area and it is a very trashy facility.”

“Although I reluctantly agreed to take a 1* as opposed to my usual 4 to 5 star preferences, I was still shocked at the condition of this hotel. It was dreary, dirt and pills on the floor and the whole place needs a serious renovation.”

“It was good for one night. I wouldn't want to stay there any longer than that.”

“Clean, friendly staff, good location to airport downtown and beaches, nice pool and rooms were good. Shower head could have been a bit better and more TV channels that worked.”

“The hotel could certainly improve my two most concerns: longer breakfast time up to 10 a.m. or at least 9.30 a.m. As a leisure traveler you do not want to wake up so early just to grab a bagel. Housekeeping already left a note under your door at 10.30 that your room does not get cleaned because of the do not disturb sign outside. It was a fight every day to get housekeeping done between 11.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Out of the 4 nights only two time housekeeping received. Left a complaint with the manager regarding this matter. Also the property is very noisy inside. You hear the whole night water running from rooms above and besides. If I would stay there again only on the 4th floor and in a corner room so the noise would come from 1 to 2 rooms but on 3rd floor you hear the water running noise from at least 6 rooms. I did not sleep without earplug. Waterpipes should be isolated with the next renovation!”

“There were a lot of negative comments on this hotel I read before I came there. I did not find this to be the case. Hotel was full when I arrived. I asked for a king size bed, they did not have a room available with one until my second night stay. They moved me into a renovated room the second day. Breakfasts were great. For money spent hotel was excellent.”

“When I checked in the staff was friendly, courteous and quick. I was happy that I got a room with a refrigerator and microwave. The room itself was presentable and neat, the A/C was also already on when I entered the room (every other room I have ever checked into it has been off). I like that I got to make a fresh Belgian waffle for breakfast. Overall it met my expectations for the level of stars.”

“I must say, while not a 5 star hotel, which is clearly not what I paid for, the hotel wasn't as bad that crossed my mind. I did have two stained towels in my room, I just didn't use them. No mold on the window sills, no bugs. The beds were clean. The room could have been cleaned a bit better, but it was not disgusting. I've been in worse. While the hotel was very busy (the parking lot was full of parked cars at night) I did feel a little unsafe because of the area. The pool and hot tubs were clean, but I did not use either of them. The breakfast in the morning was part of the room cost, which at my $35.00 for the night was a nice surprise. I made my own Belgium waffle, which was really good. Overall, I was ok with the place. I probably won't stay here again.”

“The property was clean, the staff friendly. We were only there 2 nights, but had no problems whatsoever. We are smokers, and the property is being converted to non-smoking but they had a couple of rooms that had not been remodeled yet and they gave us one and allowed us to smoke. Very accommodating.” Amenities at Quality Inn Sarasota Airport, Sarasota
