• Desk person was friendly; cab trip - 5 min.-was courtesy.
• Security was not good when a drunk banged on my door twice during the night.

“This is not a place I would ever return to, or recommend to a friend. I paid for two rooms - a fellow business person in another room.”

• Location and price. Very nice pool.
• My room was a non smoking room which was clearly not the case. Burn marks and ashes around the room. The mattresses were just barely OK.

“Just good enough to be ok. I would probably spend a few more dollars and try a different hotel.”

• Good rate and close to attractions and college which son attends.
• Restaurant is only open for breakfast.

“Enjoyed newly remodeled pool, free breakfast was a pleasant surprise (hot made to order) was clean and quiet. The front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Will be back again next trip.”

• The hot breakfast included with the room price was excellent--choices were ample, with the option of upgrading for a small additional price.
• There was a constant drizzle of water flowing from bathtub faucet. Maint. Was notified, but drizzle was not repaired within our 6 day stay.

“For the age of this motel, it is in pretty good condition. The pool and common patio areas were maintained and landscaped very well. It is in a very well lit and very well frequented/traveled area and visitors should feel safe and secure during their stay. It is conveniently located within short distances of Ringling museum complex (walking distance), local university, and several popular beaches (driving distance). Staff was very cordial even if some of the housekeeping staff did not speak English.”

• Location close to destination.
• I paid more for my room than my friends did for theirs.

“The water smelled and tasted funny. There was toothpaste on the door handle. The colors on the television were off and the volume was intermittent. The room rates were not consistent.”
